Arrow is the #1 workout and nutrition tracker built for changing your body. Log your lifts, meals, and weight in one app, get calorie and macro targets that adapt to your real results, and see whether training and diet are actually adding up, whether you're cutting, bulking, or just looking to maintain. TRAINING AND NUTRITION IN ONE LOOP Changing your body is one problem, not two. Your lifts create the stimulus, your food decides what your body does with it, and your weight trend tells you whether the plan is working. Most apps track one piece. Arrow connects all three. • Adaptive TDEE: Arrow estimates your real daily energy expenditure from your weigh-ins and food log, not just a formula, and keeps your calorie and macro targets adjusted as your body responds • Scale Weight vs. Trend Weight: every weigh-in is plotted against a rolling trend, so you can tell a water swing from true gain or loss before you change your plan • Oil detection: if a scanned meal was likely cooked in oil, Arrow asks before you log, so hidden calories don't slip past your numbers • Arrow Score: one number built from Strength (PRs and volume), Nutrition (calories, macros, weigh-ins), and Consistency (workouts and meal logs), weighted for your goal. A cut and a bulk are scored differently. • Estimated daily deficit or surplus and a four-week projection • Arrow Coach flags when a sudden scale jump or drop is likely water, not fat NUTRITION TRACKING THAT'S FAST AND HONEST • Smart Scan: photograph your plate and get the foods, calories, and macros • Describe a meal in plain words or by voice, scan a barcode, or look it up in the database • Heads Up before you log a scanned meal, and a meal score when you do • Edit any target yourself. Arrow never locks you into its numbers. • Recent foods, saved meals, custom foods, and copy-a-previous-day for meals you eat on repeat • Optional meal and post-workout reminders WORKOUT TRACKER BUILT FOR THE GYM • Log sets, reps, and weight in a few taps, no clutter mid-set • Plan your own routines or generate one from your goal, equipment, days, and session length • Flip any exercise card to see your history and personal records • Rest timer, dropsets, cardio and activity tracking • Custom exercises, swap exercises mid-workout, reorder on the fly • Lock Screen Live Activity and Dynamic Island keep your workout in view • Close the app mid-session and resume where you left off ARROW COACH Coach reads training and nutrition together: a recap of your week after workouts and on your Stats screen, a Heads Up on meals before you log them, and a call-out when a weight swing is likely water. Every note ends with what to do next. PROGRESS YOU CAN SEE • Muscle diagram shows which muscles you hit this week and how hard • Volume, PR, and lift progress over time • Week Overview calendar for training and nutrition days • Apple Health steps on your Profile and in Performance • Arrow Wrapped: your year in review TRAIN WITH FRIENDS • See your friends' workouts (and their meals, if they share them) in your feed • Share workout cards to Instagram Stories OPTIONAL GAMIFICATION Want extra motivation? LOGR is a workout log built around the part that actually keeps you going: watching the numbers move, with people who care that they did. Build a routine or hit Quick Start, log the session, and your PRs, volume, streaks, and history take care of themselves. LOG THE SESSION Over 470 exercises, cardio machines and yoga, Pilates, and mobility moves included, filtered by muscle group, equipment, and difficulty, or add your own by typing it. Reps and weight, drop sets, or a built-in timer for planks, holds, and anything else measured in seconds. Bodyweight work counts. Pull-ups and push-ups are priced against your body weight, so a calisthenics day never reads as zero volume. Favorite the lifts you run every week and keep them one tap away. Step out of a live workout without losing it. It minimizes to a bar you tap straight back into, and sits on your Lock Screen so you can check off a set without opening the app. Works in a basement gym. Log with no signal and it saves on your phone, then syncs when you are back online. Track in pounds or kilograms, and switch whenever you want. Bring your history over from a CSV file, and export yours whenever you like. WATCH IT ADD UP Personal records tracked per exercise on two tracks, weight and reps, with a progression chart that runs back to your first session. Sessions, volume, and training time totaled per week, month, and year, with every workout's sets and volume on its own card. A streak that counts training days, rest days, and the work you do outside the gym, drawn on a calendar. Over 60 achievements, scored from what you actually logged. A monthly leaderboard among the people you follow who follow you back. JOURNAL AND PLANNER Write a note on a session while it is still fresh, then find it again on a calendar you can browse by week, month, year, or all time. A workout keeps its numbers, its notes, and its photos together. Plan sessions ahead on the calendar and get a reminder when one is due, plus an optional daily reminder at a time you pick. LOG WITH FRIENDS A feed of the people you follow, with likes, comments, and replies. Direct messages, group chats, public communities, and teams with a coach's calendar. Share a workout to your Instagram story, or send it through WhatsApp or Messages. Browse the routines people you follow are running, and start one yourself. Suggested athletes, plus search by name or username. YOUR NUMBERS, YOUR CALL Decide who sees each post: everyone, followers only, or just you. Make the account private and approve followers one at a time. Report any post, comment, or message, and block anyone from their profile, a post, a comment, or a message. Deleted workouts, posts, and chats wait 7 days in Recently Deleted before they go. Every feature is unlocked. No subscription, no ads, and none of your history behind a paywall.

Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: LOGR at none against Arrow's 17. LOGR also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 78%) and update cadence (every 6 days vs every 2 weeks). Arrow's advantage is ratings volume (9.2K vs 24). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Arrow sells 17 in-app purchases, starting at $4.39 per month. LOGR asks for nothing beyond the download.
On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Arrow against 4.8 for LOGR. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Arrow has 9.2K ratings behind it against 24, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 78% of Arrow's written reviews are positive against 100% of LOGR's.
Arrow ships an update every 2 weeks, LOGR every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
