INTVL: The World Is the Game. INTVL turns every walk, run or bike ride into a game played on the real world globe. The idea is simple. When you run or ride in a loop, the ground inside that loop becomes your territory. The bigger, smarter and more tactical your routes, the more of the map you hold. Claim your territory Every loop you complete claims real space. Other players are out there doing the same thing, so the map is always moving. You can take a new route to take new ground, or go back over an area to defend what's already yours. Play it your way Some people want to be the best in the world, so they chase the global leaderboard. Others care more about home turf and work to become the territory leader of their own suburb or city. Both are worth playing for, and you can switch focus whenever you want. Hold ground, win real prizes Every bit of the map you hold earns you entries into our competitions, where the prizes are real. The more territory you hold at the end of the competition, the better your odds. Run and ride with clubs Join a club and play as a team. Your territory adds to your club's total, so a good capture from you helps everyone you're playing alongside. A feed built around the game INTVL has a social feed where you can follow other players, see their activities, and cheer them on. It's a good way to find people around you and stay connected to other athletes around the world. Bring your own gear INTVL works with the devices you already train on, so your activities sync straight into the game: - Garmin - Suunto - Polar - Coros - Fitbit - Hammerhead - Wahoo We built INTVL to give a new meaning to fitness. Movement without stakes is just exercise. The world is the game. Take it. This app integrates with Apple Health (HealthKit) to show insights about your activity, including steps, heart rate, and previous runs. Pressure is a weekly workout streak you keep with friends, built on accountability, so running and lifting become a habit. Workout partners, couples and whole groups use it as a challenge to keep each other going: every run and lift you record counts. Nobody wants to be the one who breaks it. YOUR STREAK Start a streak with a friend, a group of up to 12, or your club. The streak sets one target, 1 to 7 days a week, and everyone in it hits that number. Weeks run Monday to Sunday, so rest days are part of the plan. Recorded runs and gym sessions count on their own, or the streak can ask for photo proof. Every Monday the week is settled: the streak continues, or it breaks. Keep hitting your weeks together and you earn a Rest week, which covers one missed week. Your streaks have their own tab in the app. YOUR FIRST WEEK Start on any day. If everyone hits the target in the week you start, that week counts too, and you can watch the week add up from day one. REMINDERS Still short this week? On Saturday you get a heads-up if the week is at risk. In a group you see how many are in this week. GROUP CHAT Each streak has its own chat in the app, where proof photos land. Add runbot, our iMessage bot, to your group chat and every run and workout is posted there when you finish, so your friends follow along even without the app. RUN Record your runs with GPS. Watch your route draw on the map in real time, with pace, distance, time, elevation, and heart rate as you go. After the run, review the full map, your splits, and how the effort compares to your past runs. Workouts from Apple Health show up automatically, so your history stays in one place. GYM Log every set, rep, and weight with a fast tracker and a built-in rest timer. Each exercise has a clear illustration and demo so you know the movement. When you finish, the muscle-map view lights up every muscle you trained, shaded by how hard you worked it. Pressure tracks your personal records and your 1RM over time, and you can save your go-to sessions as routines. CLUBS AND FRIENDS Join a club and see where you stand. Weekly and all-time leaderboards rank your miles and your volume against your friends. Follow people, react to their workouts, and leave a comment. Your profile shows your year and your full history. DIAMOND Every streak you keep with friends, its Rest week, its chat, and runbot in as many group chats as you like are free for everyone. Diamond, the optional membership, adds deeper training tools such as route generation and race plans. YOUR DATA Pressure reads your workouts from Apple Health and keeps your training in one place. We do not sell your data, we do not show ads, and we do not track you across other apps. Run or lift, every workout counts, and your friends keep the pressure on. Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is ads: Pressure at none against INTVL's shown. Pressure also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and review sentiment (100% vs 83%). INTVL's advantage is ratings volume (5.6K vs 11) and chart position (#58 vs unranked). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.
