Rebound offers online trauma therapy focused on easing your brain and body out of survival mode, covered by most major insurance plans. Get matched with a licensed trauma therapist in your state and do live, face-to-face sessions with a therapist deeply trained to treat trauma. You can message your therapist anytime, and access between-session support. Rebound was built by trauma survivors in collaboration with leading experts in evidence-based PTSD treatment. OUR PROGRAM Rebound focuses on helping you get out of survival mode in two core ways: Trauma Treatment: Do virtual, 1:1 therapy sessions with a licensed therapist who specializes in trauma. We’re covered by many major insurance plans. Free, Self-Guided Journey: Understand how trauma affects your brain and body and engage in self-reflection through bite-sized lessons and activities. Begin to process what happened using storytelling methods designed by survivors and psychologists. You can access the Free, Self-Guided Journey anytime, even if you’re not in therapy with us. HOW DOES THE TREATMENT WORK? When your body has been carrying unprocessed trauma, it can stay stuck in patterns of reacting, bracing, or shutting down, even long after the danger has passed. Rebound therapists offer a proven, step-by-step way to help your brain and body get out of Survival Mode. Through it, you’re guided to tell the parts of your story your body has been holding onto, little by little and from a place of safety, so those emotions finally have room to move. Your therapist will also help you revisit the parts of daily life that trauma has made harder, supporting you in practicing them in small, steady ways that help them feel less overwhelming and more doable again. Above all, this process is supported by a foundation of consent and safety. Your Rebound therapist will be there to guide you, but you’ll be in control of the process every step of the way. WHO ARE REBOUND THERAPISTS? Our licensed therapists are full-time members of our team, and we train them to the highest standard in trauma treatment. We take a comprehensive approach to hiring and training to ensure that Rebound therapists truly are best in class. In addition to their licensure, our therapists complete a rigorous training program designed by both clinical experts and trauma survivors, so they truly understand what it’s like to live in Survival Mode and what people need to feel safe while healing. They are trained to understand trauma as it’s actually lived in the body, emotions, and everyday life, and receive ongoing training and supervision in delivering treatment with appropriate pacing and safeguards. IS REBOUND SECURE? As a group of trauma survivors and therapists, we take privacy extremely seriously. Your safety and security are our top priority. Our services are powered by AWS and Aptible, both of which are fully SOC2 and HIPAA compliant. Your therapy data is stored in our EHR that also complies with all HIPAA requirements. All medical notes and records are only accessible by you and your therapist. Furthermore, in addition to internal privacy safeguards, we regularly enlist security researchers to assess our services for vulnerabilities. **CodependFree — Daily Practice for Healthier Relationship Patterns** CodependFree is a wellness app designed for people working to break codependent patterns, people-pleasing, over-giving, and chronic caretaking. Knowing what you want to change is one thing. Responding differently in the moment is another. CodependFree helps you practice healthier responses in everyday life through daily intentions, gentle reminders, check-ins, and progress tracking. Small moments of practice can help you build greater awareness, stronger boundaries, and healthier relationship patterns over time. **1. Set a Daily Intention** Choose one healthy behavior to practice today. Browse intentions focused on boundaries, self-care, letting go, and other common codependency patterns—or let the universe choose one for you. Your intention might be: • When someone shares a problem, I will not automatically give advice. • When someone is upset, I will not try to fix how they feel. • When someone faces the consequences of their choices, I will not step in and rescue them. Your intention becomes a simple focus you can return to throughout your day. **2. Practice New Responses** Codependent behaviors can become automatic: fixing, rescuing, over-explaining, saying yes when you want to say no, or taking responsibility for someone else's emotions. CodependFree gives you opportunities to pause and practice a different response. Research on behavior change has found that planning how we will respond in a particular situation can help turn intentions into action. **3. Or Choose Gentle Random Reminders** Prefer not to work with one intention? Use Random Reminders for supportive prompts throughout the day. Each reminder encourages you to pause, check in with yourself, and reconsider automatic people-pleasing or caretaking responses. Use CodependFree's built-in reminders or create your own. **4. Track Your Daily Wins** Check in with your daily intention and record how things are going—even when the day doesn't go perfectly. Did you practice your intention? Slip and start again? Simply not have the opportunity yet? Tracking your progress can help you recognize change that might otherwise be easy to overlook. Research has also found that monitoring and recording progress can improve goal attainment. **5. See Your Progress** Look back across days, weeks, or months to see the choices you've practiced and the patterns you're working to change. Growth isn't about responding perfectly every time. It's about noticing old patterns, practicing new responses, and beginning again when you need to. **6. Make It Your Own** Choose when reminders begin and end, how often they appear, and which messages you receive. Use the built-in messages or add your own so CodependFree supports the particular patterns you're working on without becoming intrusive. **Who Is CodependFree For?** CodependFree may be helpful for people working through patterns such as: • People-pleasing or difficulty saying no • Feeling responsible for other people's emotions • Fixing or solving other people's problems • Rescuing others from consequences • Chronic caretaking or over-giving • Difficulty recognizing or expressing your own needs • Guilt when setting boundaries • Self-neglect, resentment, or emotional exhaustion These patterns can develop in many circumstances, including families affected by addiction, instability, emotional neglect, conflict, or high expectations, as well as adult relationships in which caretaking or responsibility for others becomes overwhelming. Whether you're in therapy, participating in a recovery community, or exploring these patterns on your own, CodependFree gives you a simple way to practice healthier responses in everyday life. **Awareness is the beginning. Practice is how things start to change.** Choose one behavior. Practice it today. Notice what happens. Begin again tomorrow.
