MGAero Logbook
Read full descriptionHide full description
MGAero Logbook is your EASA pilot logbook, on iPhone and iPad. Log a flight at the aircraft, see whether you can fly, and know exactly where you stand against your next license. LOG A FLIGHT IN A MINUTE Times go in as hours and minutes, never decimals, and the total is worked out from your block times. The app carries forward what it can from your last flight: where you departed from, the aircraft you flew, whether you were in command. Every value it fills in is marked, so nothing enters your record without you knowing where it came from. NO SIGNAL, NO PROBLEM A flight logged without a connection is kept on your device and added to your logbook as soon as you are back online. It is not counted in your totals until it lands, because a number you rely on should mean what it says. CAN I FLY TODAY? The first screen answers the questions you ask before a flight. Are you current to carry passengers, day and night, over the last 90 days, and until when? Are your licence, ratings and medical in date? How much have you flown over the last twelve months, and what were your last flights? YOUR RECORD, ANY WAY YOU WANT TO SEE IT Search by registration, airfield, aircraft type, crew or flight number. Filter by any date range or a whole year, by aircraft, type, category, engines, airfield, pilot function, night, IFR or cross-country time, flight rules, or the people you flew with. Your totals always follow what you see, and every year carries its own subtotals, so "how much did I fly in 2025" is answered at a glance. WHERE YOU'VE FLOWN Every route in your logbook, drawn on a map and heavier where you fly it most. Pick a year, or open the map from your logbook to see exactly the flights you filtered. Tap an airfield to see its routes, when you first and last flew there, and its flights in your logbook. Or replay your whole record in the order you flew it. BUILT FOR IPAD On iPad your logbook is a ruled table with the columns of a real EASA logbook, and in landscape a flight opens right beside it. Today, Progress, the map and Account are laid out for the larger screen, in portrait and landscape. KNOW WHERE YOU STAND Progress against Part-FCL requirements such as the PPL, CPL and ATPL, the night rating and class rating revalidation, computed from your confirmed flights. Every measurement cites its clause and every approximation is declared. It is a progress indication, not a determination of eligibility or compliance. YOUR PAPER LOGBOOK, TOO Photograph the pages of your paper logbook, or choose photos you have already taken, and they are read into your account. You confirm what was read on the web, where there is room to check it properly. Flying with a club or school? Bring those flights across and confirm them in the app. PRINT IT WHEN IT MATTERS Export your logbook as a PDF in the EASA logbook layout, with totals carried from page to page, ready for an examiner, a club or your own records. It opens with a summary of your flying: the period it covers, your totals to date, your time by aircraft and by year, and your licences and medical. YOUR PROFILE Your name, your photo, your licenses and medical, and a public page of your flying you can choose to publish and share with a link. THE RECORD STAYS YOURS Your logbook lives in your account at logbook.mgaero.eu, the same record on iPhone, iPad and the web, and it is always yours to export. There are no ads, no tracking and no third-party analytics. An MGAero Logbook account is required. You can create one in the app, and delete it in the app at any time.
