Near perfect
Fast, simple, not tied to a server. The best I’ve used.

iOS 16 unsupported
... which means that I have to go back to Google Authenticator. Unfortunately I only found out after having gone through the hoops to set the whole thing up on my iPad first. Stop forcing us to buy new tech, creating endless ewaste rubbish. iOS 16 is perfectly secure, as evidenced by the fact that Wise bank still happily support it with biometric verification, facial scanning, etc.

Response from developer
Sorry to hear that. The Proton Authenticator app requires iOS 17.0 or later. Nonetheless, we've passed on your feedback to the team accordingly.
Excellent

Good for what it is
Always good to see a privacy focused product. Moved away from Microsoft Authenticator a while back, I like this product. My only complaint would be that some 2fa apps don’t allow exports (presumably to keep people trapped to that app) but that’s not your fault so yea.
