Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: Lantan at 100% against GT e's 53%. Lantan also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). GT e's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 3.3) and ratings volume (587 vs 3). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
GT e holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GT e has 587 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Lantan's written reviews are positive against 53% of GT e's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Lantan ships an update every 2 weeks, GT e fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
