PushUp Time makes exercise a daily habit by tying it to something you already do dozens of times a day: picking up your phone. Choose the apps you open most. Before they open, you do a quick set. The camera counts your reps, and once you hit your number, they're yours for as long as you chose. Small sets add up to hundreds of reps a week, without ever planning a workout. FIVE WORKOUTS Push-ups, squats, lunges, jumping jacks and sit-ups. Mix them up to work your whole body. HANDS-FREE REP COUNTING Prop up your phone and move. PushUp Time watches your form and counts each full rep. No wearables, no equipment, no logging. TRAIN AT YOUR LEVEL Set how many reps each break costs: 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour, 2 hours, or a custom length. Start easy and raise the bar as you get stronger. TRACK YOUR PROGRESS See your reps by day, week and month, build a daily streak, and watch your totals climb for every exercise. BUILT TO KEEP YOU GOING • Choose which apps need a set before they open. • Set times of day when a workout is always required. • Give apps a daily allowance before reps are needed. • Lock in focus time when you want no breaks at all. WORKS OFFLINE Sets done without a connection still count and sync when you're back online. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Reps are counted on your phone. Your camera video is never uploaded. Available in English, Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Hindi, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Russian, Spanish and Turkish. SUBSCRIPTION PushUp Time requires a subscription to use. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings. Any unused part of a free trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription. Sqroll turns screen time into something you earn — by living well. Instead of another app that just blocks you, Sqroll gives your scroll a price: the apps that steal your time open to a shield, not a feed. To get back in, you earn it — and every way in makes you healthier. EARN THROUGH A LIFESTYLE Connect Apple Health and your healthy habits become your fuel: • Real workouts earn scroll time minute-for-minute • A 10,000-step day drops a bonus into your balance • Fall asleep by your target bedtime and wake up to more time Prefer to earn on the spot? Do a few squats — the camera counts your reps, no equipment needed. Unused minutes roll over to tomorrow, so you can bank ahead. STAY IN CONTROL A live budget tank shows exactly where your day is going — calm green to over-the-line red — so you always know where you stand. GROW, DON'T ROT When the itch to scroll hits, micro-learn instead. The Learn feed is the good part of a feed with none of the brainrot: mind-bending facts, cultures from around the world, and book summaries you can finish in minutes. MEET BUN Your accountability pet thrives when you move and fades when you scroll — your habits, made impossible to ignore. GO DEEPER • Deep Focus sessions you can't quit early • Hard Mode — apps stay locked, only real effort unlocks them • Streaks, freezes, and weekly & monthly wrapped reports PRIVATE BY DESIGN Your pose data is processed on-device. Health data is used only to credit your scroll time. Scroll less. Know more. Sqroll is a healthier way to be. Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: Sqroll at 100% against PushUp Time's 44%. Sqroll also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription). PushUp Time's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 3.0) and ads (none vs shown). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. PushUp Time sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Sqroll sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
PushUp Time holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PushUp Time has 12K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 44% of PushUp Time's written reviews are positive against 100% of Sqroll's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
PushUp Time ships an update weekly, Sqroll every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
