Features

Motif is a mood journal that helps you record how you feel and review changes over time. QUICK DAILY CHECK-INS Choose a mood, emotions, and related activities. You can also add a note, photos, or a voice recording. Writing a long journal entry is never required. REVIEW YOUR HISTORY Browse previous check-ins through a timeline, calendar, and yearly view. Charts for the past 7, 30, or 90 days help you observe trends in the information you have recorded. EXPLORE PATTERNS IN YOUR DATA Motif summarizes activities that commonly appear alongside different moods. It also shows check-in streaks and weekly recaps. These are observations based on your entries, not medical conclusions. AI INSIGHTS Some features use AI to create weekly summaries or answer questions using aggregated information from your journal. Raw notes, photos, and voice recordings are not used as context sent to the AI. Some advanced AI features require Motif Premium. Pricing and subscription terms are shown before purchase. Subscriptions can be managed or canceled in your App Store account settings. MORE FEATURES • Customizable mood reminders • Home-screen quick-log widget • PIN or biometric app lock • Light, dark, and system themes • CSV and PDF reports • Password-protected backup export and restore • Import from Daylio CSV files • Account-based journal sync across devices • In-app account and data deletion PRIVACY AND DATA Your local database is encrypted on your device. When synchronization is used, journal content and attachments may be stored in cloud services for backup and access across devices. Motif is a self-reflection and journaling tool. It is not a medical device, diagnostic tool, or emergency service, and it is not a substitute for professional care.
