Kaizen Focus blocks the apps that pull your attention away. When you open one anyway, you reflect with note and breathing before the scroll begins. KEY FEATURES Adaptive Daily Limits — starts from your current screen time, then gradually decreases every few days. Your time comes back slowly, without the shock of going cold turkey. Restricted Hours — schedule focus blocks or bedtime hours when apps stay locked. That's the whole mechanic. No scores. No streaks. No gamification. Just a moment of friction between you and the habit. Built on Screen Time framework. Works with any app on your phone. Block what pulls you in. Own every time you open it anyway. SUBSCRIPTION INFORMATION* A Kaizen Focus subscription is required to use Adaptive Daily Limits and Restricted Hours. If you choose a subscription, payment will be charged to your Apple Account after the free trial ends (if applicable). The subscription will automatically renew unless turned off in your Apple Account Settings at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Your Apple Account will be charged when the purchase is confirmed. If you subscribe before your trial ends, the remaining free trial period will be forfeited when your purchase is confirmed. Verdict
Kaizen and Kaizen Focus are too close to call on the numbers: across 6 compared parameters — price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases among them — neither pulls far enough ahead to decide it. What separates them is feature set and interface, not measurable difference.
