goBrats is the community app for people who grew up in military-connected communities: people who moved from place to place, made friends fast, said goodbye often, and carry a story few others fully understand. Some of us grew up in active-duty military families. Others followed parents serving as DoD civilians, government employees, contractors, or members of allied armed forces. Our paths may have been different, but many of us shared the same schools, bases, neighborhoods, friendships, moves, and experiences. goBrats does not define who is or is not a “Brat.” We define the community we are building: a place for people whose upbringing was shaped by military-connected life. Whether you grew up on base, overseas, stateside, attended DoDEA schools, moved because of military or government assignments, or simply spent your childhood within these communities, goBrats helps you reconnect with the people, schools, places, and memories that shaped your journey. Find your crew. Meet people by school, location, community, and shared history; and discover who crossed paths with you in the same places during the same years. Build your journey. Capture the schools, bases, towns, countries, years, and chapters that made you who you are. Your story did not happen in one place. goBrats gives it a home. Reconnect through shared history. Discover familiar names, overlapping places, reunion connections, and moments that bring your shared upbringing back to life. Share moments and memories. Post updates, photos, check-ins, stories, questions, and polls with people who understand the moves, the friendships, the goodbyes, and the unusual feeling of having more than one place you call home. Make reunions easier. Follow reunion activity, find attendees, coordinate plans, and stay connected before, during, and after the event. Support community-owned businesses. Discover and support businesses run by people from the goBrats community. The community takes care of its own. You are in control. Choose what other members can see on your profile, report or block anyone, and delete your account at any time. Your journey is yours to share. Built for belonging. goBrats is more than a social app. It is a place for people shaped by military-connected communities to find each other again, remember where they have been, build new connections, and feel at home with people who understand. Different paths. Shared upbringing. Go anywhere. Belong everywhere.
