goBrats is the community app for people who grew up in military-connected communities: people who moved from place to place, made friends fast, said goodbye often, and carry a story few others fully understand. Some of us grew up in active-duty military families. Others followed parents serving as DoD civilians, government employees, contractors, or members of allied armed forces. Our paths may have been different, but many of us shared the same schools, bases, neighborhoods, friendships, moves, and experiences. goBrats does not define who is or is not a “Brat.” We define the community we are building: a place for people whose upbringing was shaped by military-connected life. Whether you grew up on base, overseas, stateside, attended DoDEA schools, moved because of military or government assignments, or simply spent your childhood within these communities, goBrats helps you reconnect with the people, schools, places, and memories that shaped your journey.
