Close your eyes. You can still follow every breath. BreathZen is a breathing rhythm app designed for quiet practice. Gentle human breath guidance makes inhale and exhale distinct by ear, while holds remain silent. There are no spoken commands and no need to keep watching the screen. FIVE BUILT-IN PATTERNS — FREE • 4-7-8 Breath: a longer exhale for winding down • Box Breathing: four equal phases for a steady rhythm • Coherent Breathing: smooth 5.5-second inhales and exhales • 4-6 Calm Breath: gentle pacing without holds • Morning Wake Breath: an inhale-led rhythm for starting the day MADE FOR CLOSED EYES AND LOCKED SCREENS With sound enabled, your practice continues when the screen locks or you switch apps. The Lock Screen and Control Center show the current phase, pattern, overall progress, and playback state, with pause and resume controls close at hand. A RHYTHM THAT FITS YOU Set inhale, hold, exhale, and rest in half-second steps, up to 60 seconds per phase. Preview the animation and sound while you edit, with live cycle length, breaths per minute, and session duration. Editing and auditioning are free. Saving custom patterns is a one-time purchase, never a subscription. COUNT BREATHS OR SET A TIME Practice by rounds or choose 1–120 minutes. When time is up, BreathZen finishes the last complete breath instead of cutting you off halfway through a phase. Paused time does not count against the session. PRIVATE BY DESIGN No account, ads, tracking, or analytics SDK. Everyday practice works offline. Optionally save completed sessions to Apple Health as mindful minutes. All five built-in patterns and the complete core practice experience remain free. Custom pattern saving is a one-time unlock. Practice only within a comfortable range. Stop and return to natural breathing if you feel dizzy, strained, or unwell. BreathZen supports general wellness and mindfulness; it does not provide medical diagnosis or treatment.

About

Sleep Map

Features

Sleep well tonight and a piece of the world becomes yours. Sleep Map is a non-competitive sleep-habit app, played alone or with a small circle of friends. Pick your hometown, set the hours you mean to keep, and put the phone down at bedtime. Keep the night and, in the morning, you claim a place — the one next to ground you already hold, spreading outward from home a night at a time. A bad night just slows things down. It never takes anything back. Territory you have earned stays earned, always. There is no punishment here and nobody to lose to. Many places tell you something true about themselves before you go under. Not a travel brochure — one specific, surprising, real thing, in about a hundred words. The town where the movies were made before Hollywood existed. The neighborhood where New York City quietly runs out. The English city that holds the oldest football club on earth. The Swedish town whose beaches are made of shells. Many places also carry someone who was born there, with their photograph and their story. Explore more than 15,000 places across most of the world: the Americas, Europe and Oceania, and now much of Asia and Africa, from Japan, China and India to Siberia, the Middle East and the Maghreb, and across West, East, Central and Southern Africa. About three in four carry a bedtime story; the rest of the world will open in later versions. SLEEP TOGETHER, APART A Circle is up to sixteen people growing one map. Invite a friend with a code, and their ground appears beside yours wherever the two of you have met. It shows good nights only — never a night you missed, never how long you slept — and it travels through your own iCloud, shared with the people you invited and with nobody else, including us. Leaving a Circle never takes your ground away. HOW A NIGHT WORKS Set your bedtime and your wake time. When bedtime comes, start the night and put the phone down. Pick it back up in the morning within the window you set, and the place is yours. Miss the window and you keep everything you had; you just try again tonight. You can let Apple Health confirm the night for you instead, if you would rather not rely on the phone-down honor system. That is optional, and the app works completely without it. WHAT IT DOES NOT DO Sign in with Apple. No analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and nothing to buy. Your sleep times and your map live on your device and are deleted when you delete the app. We run no server that holds anything about you. The app comes with stories and the whole map, so it works on a plane with the wifi off. It can also download updated stories, translations and place names between app releases. The photographs load from our image host when there is a connection and fall back to a drawn mark when there isn't. Searching for your hometown goes through Apple Maps, and the app never asks for your location. No streak shaming, no leaderboards, no competition, and no notifications you did not ask for. It's a map of a life, drawn in good nights.
