Ledger 3 is designed as a maintenance update for previous users. Ledger 3.2 was released in 2017 and was removed from the App Store in 2021. Since releasing Ledger 4, I have been surprised to hear that some Ledger 3.2 users remain, and now see a small those users in my App Store analytics. I apologize for the scare if you updated to the new version and thought your data had been lost. Ledger 4 is a complete rewrite, and uses a new data format, so does not load your existing data. If you have upgraded from a previous version, your data remains on the device and can be moved to "Ledger 3" using Apple Music or iTunes with iTunes File Sharing. From the Files tab in iTunes Files Sharing, select “Ledger” and copy “Ledger.sqlite” to your computer. Next, drag “Ledger.sqlite” to “Ledger 3”, then reopen "Ledger 3". Note that you can also restore from the backup feature in Ledger 3. If you have backups, rename the most recent file to “Ledger.sqlite” and drag it into “Ledger 3”.
