Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: AaronCam at 100% against Prop Screen's 43%. AaronCam also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and rating (4.8 vs 4.5). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Prop Screen sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and AaronCam sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
AaronCam holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AaronCam has 12 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 43% of Prop Screen's written reviews are positive against 100% of AaronCam's.
Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
