Pausa
Read full descriptionHide full description
How many hot flashes this week? How did you sleep, and how was your mood? You don't have to remember. When a hot flash hits, one tap is enough, and Pausa shows you how your week went, all in one place. Menopause and the years before it are hard to keep track of in your head. What you write stays with you. No sign-up: we don't ask for an email or a password. No ads, and your information is never sold. Pausa has no servers, so we can't see what you write. Your entries are part of your iPhone's own backup. You can lock Pausa with Face ID if you like. Everything in Today. When a hot flash hits, tap the circle: you see right away how many you've had today and when the last one was. You can also log from the Lock Screen, on Apple Watch or by asking Siri. Add your sleep and mood with one tap each, and write what happened that day. Missed a day? "Add to another day". Connect Apple Health if you like, and things like your nighttime body temperature fill in on their own. If you log your period there, your period days show up on the symptom calendar too. Describe your day. Write it however it comes to you: "Woke up sweating twice last night, three hot flashes in the evening." The AI on your iPhone turns it into a note; you see what it understood before saving and fix anything that's off. What you write never leaves your iPhone. Works on iPhones with Apple Intelligence. Your hormone medications, one by one. Patch, gel, pills, spray: add each medication separately, with its dose and how often you use it, the way your doctor told you. Pausa never suggests a dose. On the Today screen, mark each one Taken or Skipped with one tap. When your dose or schedule changes, tap "Changed"; the old one stays in your history. Set a reminder per medication if you like: your Lock Screen only says "Pausa reminder", never the medication name. It starts with you. The first time you open Pausa, we ask what bothers you most and which stage you're in. Your picks stay on the Today screen, and we skip questions that don't fit you. Trends: a short summary every week. At the end of the week you see how your hot flashes, sleep and mood went. We also compare it with what you told us at the start: "At the start you said about 5 a day; this week you averaged 3." Pausa points out links you might want to notice, in plain sentences, such as more hot flashes the day after a poor night. They're there to help you notice, never a diagnosis. Doctor: go prepared. Turn weeks of notes into a tidy summary to show your doctor. Instead of "I just don't feel right", you have the real picture in your hand. Your medications, their doses and since when you've used them are included too. What's free and what's Premium. Notes, reminders, the weekly summary and asking about your notes in the Ask tab are always free: questions like "How many hot flashes did I have this week?" are answered from your own notes, and answers to general questions are based on sources such as The Menopause Society, NICE and ACOG. Premium adds: • A tidy summary to show your doctor • Seeing what changed after your medication changed • Comparing your hot flashes on period days with other days • Asking anything in your own words and getting a written answer • A short write-up of your week Open-ended questions and the weekly write-up work on iPhones that support Apple Intelligence. If you're new to Premium, it's free for 14 days on the yearly plan and 7 days on the monthly plan. We remind you 2 days before the trial ends; cancel before then and you pay nothing. The price is shown clearly on the payment screen. Pausa is a helper to get to know your body better. It isn't a medical device; it doesn't diagnose or suggest treatment. If something doesn't go away or worries you, talk to your doctor. Privacy: https://heypausa.com/legal/#privacy-en Terms of use: https://heypausa.com/legal/#eula-en

You're not imagining it. The 3am wake-up. A heart that suddenly races. A full night of sleep that still leaves you flat. Perimenopause can make nights hard to make sense of — and Apple Watch can leave you with numbers but no clear picture. Perigee brings five Apple Watch readings into one clear morning view: HRV — the small changes in time between heartbeats — resting heart rate, sleep, wrist temperature, and breathing rate while you sleep. Each is compared with what’s usual for you. No athlete score. No mystery grade. WHAT YOU GET EVERY MORNING • A useful morning explanation: what changed, what likely contributed, and one practical suggestion. • Five Watch readings in one place, each beside what’s usual for you. • A plain note when the Watch missed part of the night or needs more nights for a fair comparison. No guessing. TRACK WHAT YOU FEEL • Log a symptom in ten seconds — hot flashes, night sweats, racing heart, brain fog, low mood, poor sleep. • Keep a simple HRT log and see your notes beside your Watch readings over time. Perigee never tells you what to take or change. SEE THE PATTERNS • See which symptoms and Watch readings happened on the same nights. Open the dates, counts and missing nights behind each Pattern. • Export a clean, doctor-ready PDF to bring to your next appointment. WHY PERIGEE IS DIFFERENT Perigee is made for perimenopause and menopause, when sleep, night sweats, brain fog, hot flashes, a racing heart or low mood can be hard to explain. It keeps your symptoms, HRT notes and Apple Watch readings together, so you can see what changed, what repeats, and what to bring to your doctor. FREE, AND FAIR Your Watch readings and history are free, forever. So are symptom and HRT logs. The free plan includes up to one morning summary a week and three a month. Perigee Plus unlocks a useful explanation every morning, full weekly reports, and doctor-ready PDF export. AN HONEST WORD ON WHAT THIS IS Perigee is a wellness and self-knowledge companion, not a medical device. It does not detect, diagnose, or treat menopause or any condition, and it does not give medical or medication advice. It shows your own Watch readings and symptom log so that you — and your doctor — can review them together. Always talk to a qualified healthcare professional about symptoms, treatment, or any decision about HRT. SUBSCRIPTION Perigee Plus is an auto-renewing subscription available as a monthly or annual plan. Eligible new subscribers can start with a 7-day free trial; the Apple purchase sheet shows the offer available to your account. • Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. • It renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. • Manage or cancel anytime in your App Store account settings. You're not imagining it — now you have dates and readings to bring with you.

Verdict
Pausa and Perigee are too close to call on the numbers: across 6 compared parameters — price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases among them — neither pulls far enough ahead to decide it. What separates them is feature set and interface, not measurable difference.
