ORIGIN is a workout tracker for people who already train. No account. No server. No analytics. Your training log lives on your iPhone, and that is the whole point. WHAT YOU GET Log fast between sets. Weight and reps, one thumb, no ceremony. Your last session's numbers sit right next to the empty fields so you know what you did and what to beat. See the whole record. Every workout you have logged, searchable, with sets, volume, and session time. Edit anything after the fact when you mistype a number at the rack. Watch strength move. Estimated one rep max charted over time for every lift you train. Volume by week. A twelve week activity grid that makes consistency visible. Know where you stand. Strength standards rank your main lifts from Beginner through Elite, scaled to your bodyweight, age, and sex. No guessing whether a 315 squat is good. Set targets that mean something. Chase a specific lift, a strength rank, a bodyweight, or a training habit. Progress updates from your actual logged work. 259 exercises built in, across chest, back, legs, shoulders, arms, core, Olympic lifts, and cardio, with alternate names so search finds what you call it. Add your own when yours is missing. Plate math without the arithmetic. Enter a target weight, see what to load per side. Templates for the sessions you repeat. Start from your last workout in one tap. PRIVACY, PLAINLY ORIGIN has no accounts, so there is nothing to sign into and nothing to breach. It has no analytics and no third party SDKs, so nothing watches how you use it. There is no server we operate, so there is no database of your training anywhere. Your data is backed up to your own iCloud Drive so it survives a new phone. That backup goes to your personal Apple account. Not to us, not to anyone else. Turn iCloud off and ORIGIN keeps working, entirely on device. The App Store privacy label for this app reads Data Not Collected. That is not a marketing line. It is the literal truth. BUILT FOR ONE THING ORIGIN is an iPhone app for lifting. It does not do meal logging, step counting, sleep scores, streaks that guilt you, or social feeds. It records what you lifted and shows you whether it is going up. Requires iOS 18 or later. iPhone only.
Single Standard

Built to treat firefighters like the professional athletes they are. Requires an individualized invite code from a participating department following an in-person movement screening to identify areas of increased injury risk. Tracks consistency with corrective exercise routines and overall movement progress over time, using your phone's camera with augmented reality to confirm each repetition was accurately performed rather than simply checked off. Sessions take ten minutes or less and are built to fit around a shift. Session video is processed on your device and never uploaded or stored. This app supports an exercise program prescribed by a licensed physical therapist. It does not diagnose, treat, or provide medical advice. Talk to your clinician before starting any exercise program, and stop if you experience pain.

Verdict
ORIGIN Lift and Single Standard are too close to call on the numbers: across 5 compared parameters — price, ads, in-app purchases and device support among them — neither pulls far enough ahead to decide it. What separates them is feature set and interface, not measurable difference.
