NICE 1.0.1 is a reliability and habit-management update. No account, sign-in, server connection, analytics SDK, advertising, or in-app purchase is used. All habit data remains in the local SwiftData store shared with the widget through the app group. What changed: • Users can edit an existing habit without deleting its completion history. • Users can pause and resume a habit. Paused days are displayed as rest days and are not counted as failures. • Local notifications are refreshed when the app opens or a habit changes. • Completing a habit removes its remaining reminders for that day while preserving future reminders. • Widget completion state now changes correctly when the calendar day changes. • Multi-habit selection and completion are separate actions. • Accidental completions can be undone. • The previously shown “pinned lock-screen” penalty has been removed because the app cannot programmatically pin a widget. Suggested review flow: 1. Create a habit and allow notifications. 2. On the Today screen, tap Edit to change its action, deadline, persona, intensity, or penalty. 3. Tap Pause, then Resume. 4. Mark the habit complete and use the undo option. 5. Add another habit to review the multi-habit selection and completion controls. Notification content and timing vary according to the selected persona, deadline, and intensity. Notifications are generated locally. No special account or review credentials are required.

Stop saying you'll do it. Be FORCED to. Pick what you keep putting off: the gym, waking up on time, studying, getting off your phone, anything. Pick when. Pick what you lose if you don't. Then prove it. HOW IT WORKS • Spin the wheel or write your own: the gym, wake up on time, study for an hour, read, post the video. • Set the time it's due. It repeats every day, or pick just once. • Prove it with a photo. The Judge checks it. No proof, no credit. • Keep your word and get a receipt. Miss it and it costs you. • Nothing set today? FORCED suggests three things to lock in. BUILT FOR THE GYM • Pick your gym days, or add one session just this once. • Pick your workout for each day: push, pull, legs, cardio, or write your own. • The Coach lights up the muscles you're hitting. • Check in with a photo, or save your gym and get checked in automatically when you walk in. • Rest days are rest days. Your streak counts sessions, not calendar days. WHAT YOU PUT ON THE LINE • Money: any whole dollar from $1 to $100, charged only if you miss. It goes to carbon removal through Stripe Climate. FORCED keeps none of it. • Did it but missed the proof? Appeal in Charges and disputes with a photo and a note. A person checks it, and nothing charges while they do. • A partner: someone you name hears about it when you miss, once they agree to it. • Your apps: Screen Time locks the apps you pick until you check in at the gym, or after a miss. • Or just your word. A miss still breaks your streak and costs you rank. • Set it up after you start, and change any of it later in Profile. YOUR AI, TOO • Connect your own AI assistant in Profile. It can see your day and add commitments when you ask it to. • Anything with money still needs your tap in FORCED. Proof is always a photo in the app. YOUR RECORD • A streak of sessions you actually showed up for. • Ranks from Bronze to FORCED that only move on proof. • A monthly leaderboard. • A receipt for every commitment you kept and every one you missed. FORCED PRO FORCED Pro is the subscription that runs the app. Plans and prices are shown before you buy. Cancel any time in your Apple Account. MONEY IS OPTIONAL FORCED works without a card. Money is off unless you turn it on, and it needs a saved card and a signed agreement. A charge happens only after a clear miss, the money goes to carbon removal, not FORCED, and you can dispute any charge in the app. There are no prizes, random outcomes, or winnings. YOU STAY IN CONTROL Permissions are asked only when you use the feature. Location is used only to check you in at the gym you saved. Three breaks a month cover sick days and emergencies. Account deletion is in the app. Terms: https://useforced.com/terms Privacy: https://useforced.com/privacy

Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: NICE at none against FORCED's 3. FORCED's advantage is update cadence (daily vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (6 vs 1). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for NICE against 5.0 for FORCED. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FORCED has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
