Procrastinated? You can still restart. DelayLens is a gentle tool for the moment after you realize you got stuck. Instead of asking you to become perfectly disciplined, it helps you record what happened, name the cause, choose the smallest next action, and return to focused work. It is not a generic Pomodoro timer, to-do list, or habit tracker. DelayLens is built around one clear recovery loop: record → understand → take one small step → focus → learn from what helped. HOW IT WORKS 1. Record the procrastination Start a log when you notice you are putting something off. End it when you are ready to come back, so the time that actually passed is captured. 2. Name what got in the way Choose a reason, add a task category, and leave a note if useful. A task may feel too large, the first step may be unclear, or you may be tired or distracted. Recording the cause turns a vague feeling into something you can review. 3. Choose one small next action Replace “finish the report” with “open the document and write the title.” Make the next move specific enough to begin. 4. Choose a restart method and focus length Pick a restart method that fits the moment, then focus on the next action for 5, 15, or 25 minutes. When it ends, decide what comes next. 5. Learn what helps you restart Review procrastination time, causes, restart methods, completion, and your own feedback. Over time, DelayLens can compare which methods are associated with more completed actions and provide method-based insights and personalized suggestions from your records. WHAT DELAYLENS HELPS YOU DO • Log procrastination time as it happens • Record reasons, categories, and notes • Turn a stuck task into a small next action • Follow small steps during a 5, 15, or 25 minute focus session • Use different restart methods and keep a record of what you tried • Review daily and weekly trends • Bring today’s procrastination and focus together in a daily reflection • Leave feedback on what helped • See method effectiveness and personalized suggestions based on your records • See the link between a procrastination log and the focused action that followed FREE AND PRO The free experience helps you complete the restart in front of you: log the episode, understand the cause, choose a next action, focus, and review today or this week. DelayLens Pro adds longer-range views and deeper pattern insights, including method effectiveness and personalized suggestions based on your recorded completion and feedback patterns. MADE FOR REAL-LIFE STARTING TROUBLE DelayLens can help when: • You know you should study but have not opened the material • A work task feels too large to begin • You are tired but still want to move forward a little • The same kind of procrastination keeps returning DelayLens does not promise to eliminate procrastination or complete your work for you. It gives you a calmer way to acknowledge what happened and begin again. Start with one small action. ou did the work. Can you clearly show what got done? Important outcomes often end up scattered across chats, folders, photos, and memory. When it is time to write a daily report, monthly summary, or performance review, you have to reconstruct everything again. WorkList is built around completed work—not another list of intentions. RECORD WORK BY PROJECT Create project groups for clients, internal initiatives, long-term responsibilities, or personal work areas. Each record can include a title, category, details, start and end times, and optional tracked duration. KEEP DELIVERABLES WITH THE WORK Attach files and images directly to a work record. Every deliverable appears as a separate item with a preview. WorkList derives a default deliverable name from the original filename; you can edit the display name while the original filename and format remain intact. STOP WRITING SUMMARIES FROM MEMORY Review work, deliverables, categories, and tracked hours by month. Filter by category or search titles, details, deliverable names, and original filenames. ONE RECORD, MULTIPLE OUTPUTS Create reports for a day, the current month, the last 3 or 6 months, a custom date range, or all records. Export to Word, Excel, PDF, or PowerPoint, and optionally package the report together with its deliverable files. PRESENT WORK AS A REAL REPORT PowerPoint exports follow a clear structure: cover, paginated work overview table, then individual work and deliverable pages. Your update becomes easier to review, present, and discuss. LOCAL-FIRST BY DESIGN No account is required, and there is no advertising tracker. Projects, records, and attachments are stored locally on your device by default. Create complete backups and choose Merge Data or Replace Data when restoring. WorkList is useful for consultants, designers, independent professionals, project-based teams, and anyone who needs reliable evidence for monthly reports, reviews, handoffs, or personal reflection. Todo lists track what you plan to do. WorkList records what you actually accomplished. Record what got done. See the value of your work.
