NutriScout vs Earthwicking

NutriScout is a nutrient tracker for people who take supplements as well as eat food — and who want to know whether the two together are actually hitting their targets. Log a meal or a supplement in seconds. Every vitamin, mineral, electrolyte and macro you care about turns green, amber or red against a target you set yourself, so you can see at a glance what your day was actually short of. SEE THE WHOLE DAY IN ONE DIAL A day score that counts up as you log, ringed by one status light per nutrient. Tap any of them for what you took, what you were aiming for, and where the gap is. BUILT FOR SUPPLEMENTS, NOT JUST MEALS Keep your own library of foods and supplements with the exact per-serving amounts off the label — every value is yours to edit, because your bottle is the only source that matters. Duplicate yesterday's smoothie with one tap. TARGETS THAT ARE YOURS Start from published daily values and change any of them. Track by the day or by the week. An electrolyte panel puts sodium, potassium, magnesium and calcium side by side. SEE WHETHER IT IS WORKING Trend charts per nutrient, a coloured calendar of every day you logged, an on-target streak, and weekly adherence — the answer to "are these supplements doing anything?" NUTRISCOUT PLUS (optional subscription) The free plan keeps your logging, your library, your dashboard, your streak and your full history, and tracks eight nutrients. Plus adds: - Every nutrient tracked, not just eight - Weekly targets as well as daily - 30-day trends and reports (the free plan shows the last 7 days) - Hydration tracking - CSV export of your own data Monthly or yearly, with a 7-day free trial. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation. The subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends; manage or cancel it in your App Store settings. Every other wellness app measures the time you spend with it. Earthwicking measures the time you spend outside. Made for people who want a short, daily outdoor practice — nature connection, mindfulness or quiet spiritual reflection — that fits a balcony or a back step as well as a forest. THE TWO-HOUR LINE A study of 19,806 people found that under 120 minutes of nature a week was no better than none, and 120 or more was — and that it made no difference whether that came from one long walk or a dozen small moments. That last part is the whole point. Two minutes under a tree is not a consolation prize; it is a deposit against the same line. Earthwicking shows you the week against that line, works out your own pace, projects where you will land, and tells you the smallest honest step that would clear it. And when the week genuinely cannot be cleared, it says so, instead of inventing a target. TODAY'S EARTHWICKING MOMENT One short practice a day, two to ten minutes, dealt from a library of 67 and chosen for the Path you picked and the outdoor space you actually have. A balcony never gets handed a woodland practice. THREE PATHS Nature Connection for the senses and the ground under you, Nature Mindfulness for attention and breath, or Spiritual Connection for reflection and Scripture. Change it whenever you like. SCREEN-DOWN TIMER Start it, put the phone in your pocket, and go. The one screen this app wants is the one you close. YOUR JOURNEY Seed, Sprout, Young Plant, Sapling, Tree, Grove, Living Forest — earned on the Moments of a lifetime, so a missed day can never move you backwards. There is no streak in this app and the word does not appear in it. WHERE THESE NUMBERS COME FROM Every figure is named to its study, in the app, on one sheet. One claim we were asked for is refused there, and it says why. FREE, FOREVER The daily Moment on every Path, the entire 67-practice library, logging with real minutes, the Screen-Down timer, the growth stages, all eight badges, this week against the 120-minute line and your own pace, the current month's Companion reading, reminders, and 30 days of your own observations. EARTHWICKING DEEPER (optional subscription) The computed depth only: the projection and the prescription, the eight-week trend, Patterns — which path, element, length and time of day actually settle you — all twelve Companion months, unlimited favourites, full history, and a real exported file. - $4.99 per month or $29.99 per year, each with a 7-day free trial - Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. The subscription auto-renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your Apple ID is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the period ending. Manage or cancel in your Apple ID Settings. Earthwicking asks for no location permission and contains no GPS or maps. Nothing in it is medical advice.
