Talk about your competition prep and your diet. Starter diet already filled in, and a coach that knows your prep. Voice chat, grounded by research by published Natural Bodybuilding expert sources. Bodybuilding Diet is for competitive natural bodybuilders, before or during a contest prep. Open it and the plan is ready to follow. Ask the Coach when you have a question. THE DIET You get two days: a High-carb day and a Low-carb day, six meals each, with the foods already chosen. The macro targets come from a coach's target sheet built for natural competitors. Your portions are worked out from your lean body mass and change as your body fat does. - Run the cycle the app sets: two High days, then one Low day, and repeat. It is the cycle the Bodybuilding Diet app has always used. - Swap any food for another in the same food group, from a catalog of 47 foods. - Choose the standard plan or the off-season plan, which adds carbs. - Meal times follow your wake-up time. - Diet, Foods and Analysis work offline. THE COACH Ask about training, nutrition, peak week or show day. Type the question or say it. The Coach answers from a curated library of natural bodybuilding sources and shows you which ones it used. With sharing on, it knows your weeks out, your High and Low day targets and your recent weigh-ins, so the answer is about your prep, not prep in general. It can read its answers aloud. The Coach includes 3 free questions a day. For everyday use there is a Coach subscription, monthly or annual. Diet, Foods and Analysis are free and need no subscription. ANALYSIS See which vitamins and minerals your diet leaves short, using USDA FoodData Central nutrient data and reference intakes from the NIH Office of Dietary Supplements. This compares a sample diet to published reference intakes. It isn't a diagnosis. Check with a doctor or registered dietitian before starting a supplement. FOODS AND WEIGHT The Foods tab is a one-page calculator: pick a food, enter a gram target and get the serving. The Profile tab keeps your weigh-ins, shows the trend, and tells you how many days it has been since the last one. PRIVACY Your diet and profile are stored on your device. The Coach needs an internet connection. While "Share my plan with the Coach" is on, which it is by default, your profile numbers, day targets and weeks out go with each question so the answer can use them. Turn it off in the Profile tab, in Settings, or in the Coach tab's menu. Speech is turned into text on your device, and your audio is never sent. The Coach remembers your conversation between launches only if you turn that on. WHO IT IS FOR Natural bodybuilders getting ready for a show, first or fiftieth. It is not a calorie counter or a general dieting app, and it does not log what you eat. Works on iPhone and iPad. Once you’ve decided that you want to build muscle, lose fat, increase strength or improve your body in any way, the first subject that always comes up is weightlifting workout routines. Here are the five principles every bodybuilder must follow: 1. Train hard enough. You must give your muscles a stimulus to grow. 2. Eat enough protein. You must give your muscles the building blocks they need to grow and your body the energy it needs to function. 3. Eat the right amount of calories. Whether you want to cut body fat or increase muscle mass, it is important to eat the right amount of calories. 4. Take care of your hormones Too much stress will put your body into a catabolic state that breaks down muscle for energy. 5. Drink plenty of water. The ketogenic diet and working out both cause significant water loss. If you don’t replenish your fluids, then your performance and recovery will be significantly impaired. We’re going to give you the basic tools to get started on your Body Building journey with our compete workout guide here.
