Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: STN MOBILE at 4.7 against Cuddle Lock's 3.3. STN MOBILE also leads on ratings volume (8.1K vs 6). Cuddle Lock's advantage is review sentiment (57% vs 30%) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
STN MOBILE holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: STN MOBILE has 8.1K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 30% of STN MOBILE's written reviews are positive against 57% of Cuddle Lock's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
STN MOBILE ships an update every 3 months, Cuddle Lock every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
