Bodhi Timer
Read full descriptionHide full description
Bodhi Timer is a countdown timer for meditation and other timed activities. Set one duration or a sequence of consecutive timers, then pause, resume, or start the session again. Make a timer that suits your session: • Save four duration presets. • Build a list of intervals with a separate sound for each one. • Choose from bells, gongs, singing bowls, bird song, the system tone, or an audio file. • Add preparation time before the session starts. • Use an animated Enso circle, a fading Bodhi leaf, or your own image. • Choose a light, dark, black, or system theme. • Hide the remaining time or keep the screen awake. • Set a duration by typing or with optional English speech input. Settings, presets, timer lists, and running or paused timers are saved on your iPhone. There are no accounts, advertising, or analytics SDKs. The timer works without an internet connection. Optional speech recognition may use Apple's Speech service when on-device recognition is unavailable. Background alerts require notification permission and follow your iPhone's sound, silent-mode, and Focus settings. Long or repeated sequences can exceed the queue of upcoming alerts while the app remains closed. Reopen the app to refresh that queue. Imported audio uses its first 29 seconds. Requires iOS 26 or later. The interface and speech commands are in English. This is an independent iPhone fork and SwiftUI port of Bodhi Timer by yuttadhammo and the BodhiTimer developers.
