Like Having a Friend in Every City
I’ve used TripScout in Ireland, Scotland, San Francisco, Boston, DC and Charleston. I saved a ton of time and money using the app. I was able to review and prioritize sites before arriving, then used it a lot while onsite. Easy to use, knowledgeable descriptions, and much more affordable than hiring local guides. TripScout has tipped us off to many favorite finds, from the best breakfast in DC to a fabulous (tiny) artist’s shop in Charleston. I can’t even imagine walking Boston’s Freedom Trail without it! Updated as promised!
In July I left a review stating that I would happily change my rating if the issues with the app were resolved. The TripScout team did contact me and went out of their way to work out the issues and to keep me in the loop with every fix.
They app began working well for me again and was invaluable for our recent 10 day trip!

One thing I would like to see is the option to add flight details & Hotel check in/out as part of the itinerary. Also, when adding a car rental place, I could not add both the pick up or drop off. Only one date at a time. Luckily there was a second “enterprise” pin that I chose to add as the drop off/departing portion of my trip. Otherwise, a very cool app and will continue to use it and I am excited to see it grow!Show lessHolycowjustacceptmynamealready
It doesn’t work
The idea is really good, but when I tried to save spots for my next trip, they did not appear on my wishlist and I had to start a new search every time... I gave up!manureg
