Doesn’t accurately track weight
I’ve had this app for years to track my weight daily and always felt it could be better than it it. Then with the latest update it’s even worse. When I input my weight every morning it never records it accurately. Isn’t that what the app is supposed to do— track your weight? And it doesn’t even do that.Show lessSocallove
Disappointed
Basically it tracks your weight day to day. Like a simple scale. It gives you point in time readings like skeletal muscle but it doesn’t tell you what your ideal range should be & there is no graph or historical tracking. If you are working out & you want to see how your BMI, skeletal muscle, bone density has changed over a week or month you CANT! There is no data tracked but weight. I’m very disappointed to pay so much for a scale that isn’t tracking my progress as promised.

Where are the developers?
Many users have complained that the App does not track body fat, muscle mass, BMI, etc.
You get a one day reading and that’s it! The entire purpose of this scale is to track progress of more than weight. Hey YUNMAI it’s 2021 and people understand health is about more than weight!!
I’m working with a trainer and there is no way on this App for me to track my progress on decreasing body fat & increasing muscle mass.
Developers, the fix is easy! Just have the App track day to day the readings in graph form of every indicator the scale measures.

Constantly in Detecting mode
This app worked great for the last few months and now when I open it it just says detecting and will not let me go anywhere else in the app. I weigh myself the weight comes up in a minute I X out of that it goes back to detecting it won’t give me my history or anything else. The scale has become useless sadly as I was really enjoying it.Show lessgsbumps
Why do I need an account?
With the new update, I need to register for an account to connect the app to my scale. So by updating, I lost features. An account was never required before. I would like to return my scale since you have made it less useful.
Edit: It's been a month since this disaster of an update. Almost all reviews are one star complaints. Why don't you listen to your customers and roll back the log in requirement?
Second edit: Poor reviews have brought it down to fewer than 2.5 stars. Obviously the customers are not happy. It's unfortunate that most people probably won't look for the app until after they buy the scale, but if you are looking at this before, don't buy a Yunmai product. Hate it!
I’ve been using the scale and software for over 2 1/2 years. I had no complaints at all until they did the latest software update. Why fix what was not broken??? The last software was great. Can I go back to it? I hate this software so much I am considering getting a different manufacturer’s scale. It’s hard to read it doesn’t give you the change from last weighing end it doesn’t always record my weight. I have to get back on the scale again and hope that I can get it to read this time. I reckon the main reason for low ratings on the App Store is you’re more likely to only rate a scales app if you see problems which 90% of people won’t

Keeps Telling Me I Need The Chinese Version
I just got this scale the other day and had no issues on day 1, and then all of a sudden today, day #3 of owning it and recording my data in the app, it all of a sudden has this undismissable pop up that tells me the app doesn’t support my scale and that I need to go to the App Store and download the Chinese Version, which cannot be found anywhere. Maybe a bug with the new iOS? Super frustrating and annoying to have to open the app super fast, step on my scale and hope it connects in time, and then record my data that way. Still works, just can’t see anything in the app with the stupid pop up.Show lessgkomin18

App doesn’t work
I got the YUNMAI smart jump rope which appears in the app, but the jump rope won’t sync with the app, I already had the scale, which has been finicky in how it keeps/tracks my weight, but now with the jump rope not working at all I’m done. Why add a feature to the app that doesn’t work. I know I’m not the only one with this issues I’ve seen others having the same problem with the smart jump rope.
