When I bought the cameras there were few restrictions other than long term storage. Now you can only look at a live picture, and even that takes forever to get to with the push for pay services. Now even something that happened 10 minutes ago will cost you to see.

This camera used to work great, but now the app is flooded with advertisements. I can’t even check my camera without watching a 3 minute video and now the thing I needed to check is over. But wait, let me check the 2nd camera because my pet has moved, nope! Another 3 minute video to swap between cameras! Ok so just check the camera feed, nope! Not allowed to check camera feeds anymore, not even a still shot. This camera is absolutely pointless!!!!!!!

Frustrating
I’ve had these cameras for almost a year and they were great at first, I was able to keep a live feed watch over what my dogs were up to when we are out, but since the new update to the app, it skips from page to page while you were trying to view either the live feed or a recorded feed rather it’s on your SD card or the cloud! It is very frustrating!! Makes me want to throw my phone! I have tried everything to fix it including resetting the cameras and removing the app completely and reinstalling on my phone. I am at my wits end! maybe someone has a suggestion on how to fix this problem?

Criminals
If you subscribe to their service good luck ever getting it cancelled. There is no way to do it yourself from the app and they force you to email them. Then when they finally respond they can barely speak English and refuse to do what you ask and keep trying to offer other things. I wouldn’t recommend to my worst enemy.

DO NOT BUY IT!
I got their camera several years ago and back then things worked fine until they decided to “blackmail” people in order to earn money. They wouldn’t let you view the alert videos until you view an ad. I got used to it as was lazy to research for new cam
NOW, they do not let me view videos at all. There is a screen appearing on top of them saying “something very important is happening. Sign up to free trial to view your video or delete”. I thought i was deleting the ad but it deletes my videos instead. So i am away now and can’t even view the reason of alert! They are scammers and you better pay more but be safe

Too many ads
We’ve paid for the hardware, yet they still make you watch ads before you can view your time sensitive secure footage! Disappointed. It used to be good. Now I can’t wait to get rid of all the cameras I have.
This software has viruses
Ms defender pops up with warnings every time i open the app. You will also see your browser stuck on a spam webpage because of it. Total garbage

I’ve had these cameras for a few years they works great! But then they got an upgrade now I have to pay for AD free subs.

Not worth it
This app used to be awesome before all the ads and the forced subscriptions model came into place. Now it is almost impossible to navigate the user interface without running into an ad. I advise you look elsewhere.
Trash app
I have had YI cameras for years now. The app has progressively become USELESS for a security camera app. I have to wait for all the ads to clear before I can see my cameras. It also struggles to get the wifi name and clears everytime I switch to the settings to see the name. It’s darn near criminal how pervasive the ads have become.

Warning - once you sign up for a subscription you'll never be able to cancel it.
If you do find out where to request a cancellation (customer service) instead of cancelling it as requested they will string you along with alternate choices until another billing cycle comes along and you get billed again.
I've had to get my credit card company involved to cancel the recurring billing.

Beware!! Read! App is Useless Now!!!
You used to be able to actually USE the app but not anymore. They have the entire app loaded with ads and even purchasing the ad free version doesn't make it go away. These used to be a quality product but I'm getting rid of them due to obvious security risk with constant ads. It is AGAINST THE LAW to force you to pay to get a product to work AFTER you purchase it.

Used to be good
I became a user a bunch of yr ago and they went from affordable cameras to scammers. I bought 4 cameras because they were good and affordable. And I happily used them for yrs. Since they started to impose the KAMI sub it went down hill. If you didn’t subscribe your feed need to be allow by an ad now. Also once you are allow they time the feed as well. Thus obligating you to purchase the subscription. On top of that I subscribed for a month. Then i asked to unsubscribe before the second month and the customer service not only did not unsubscribe me but also they kept charging me thereafter. Even when I explicitly ask them to cancel the sub.
