HealthKit workouts aren't saving properly

I love the Smart Rope and I love using this app. It doesn't save my workouts properly on the Health app. It seems to stop my workout if I any break longer than 2 seconds. I thought this would be solved if I did the Interval Training in the app, but that saved one workout as 5 separate workouts on the Health app (and on the Apple Watch Activity app). Some of those 'workouts' were 0:00 long!
It would be great if the watch app recorded heart rate data too :)

App won't open up

App was working fine the whole time and randomly just won't even open up. Please fix it

Good Concept-Not Ready

I'm an avid fitness enthusiast mostly on the go so the idea of a smart jump rope that I could take with me sounded like a good idea. After two days, the app does not find friends, does not have an overall history, and the rope itself takes a college degree to hold it at the right angle. This is a really great concept, but it seems that the app and the product have quite a way to go. I'm really considering returning this product if they are unable to resolve my issues soon. I'm only giving it two stars because this is a great way to burn calories, get the heart rate up, and you can look at your phone to see how many jumps you've completed.

Love my rope, but.....

The Smart Gym app is not connecting to Facebook. It says it's already to sync to it, however, it never actually syncs and the app always tells me to connect. Last night, I downloaded the app to my Samsung tablet to see if it would connect and sync with Facebook, and it did. I'm really interested in doing challenges with my friends, and would love to use my phone instead of my tablet. Also, my rope is not displaying my jump count while jumping, only shows my count on the app. I've had my rope for almost 2 weeks.

Great product, app needs improvement

I love the product, I'm not sure why I have to go to the app every time to start my jump counter. Maybe I have my rope, and want to jump, but don't have my phone nearby. Please add this feature, the app should track my jumps whether I start the counter or not, similar to a step counter.

Great App and Device

The app is beautifully designed and does the job well.

It would be better if backwards jumping was accommodated. Also, the workout data is appropriately entered as "Active Energy" in HealthKit. However, the data should also be entered in HealthKit as "Workouts" in the "Mixed Metabolic Cardio Training" category. The "workouts" section allows calories burned to be entered, and some apps import "Active Energy" but others import "Workouts", and some even import both. Not recording the data as an actual workout in HealthKit is a bit counterproductive.

Those two matters aside, the app and device do their job well, it's a worthwhile purchase that I easily recommend.

Solid.

Solid app, does what it supposed to do for the SmartRope, only reason for 4 stars is because every time I finish a round of jumping the same "reward" pops up. It's a little annoying but it's not like you can't get passed it... Otherwise solid app.

App Functionality Not Great

Was interested in this product at first, but when I tried using it, the FB connect didn't work and the reporting functionality is limited. Tried emailing their support team about FB connect and never got a response three weeks later. The rope itself is also too long for me to use. Great in theory here and the app is sleek, but not worth it in practice.

Buggy and confusing settings

When I opened this app for the first time, it told me facebook "connected". I'm shocked and thought someone hacked my facebook account. Then I realized the button shows the wrong text, which should be "connect" instead of "connected". After I manually connected my facebook account, the text changed into "disconnected"...

You cannot custom the interval training and there's only a few fixed options for you. I want to do 10 sets of 200-jump training, how can I do that? If it is not possible to custom the interval mode, at least add a button to reset the counter in basic mode.

Expected so much more.

I at least expected it to work. "Smart Gym needs to network connection at the first time. Check your connection and try again. [Sic]” Over and over. Have already paired the thing and used it once. Deleted app and re-installed. Still same result. Had previously loaded personal info and had it working, although personal info disappeared twice.

Wrote support (no actual support link anywhere, just their one basic contact) five days ago and haven’t received anything but an acknowledgement of my email. They’re probably swamped with problems at this point.
