Always try apps like these but this one actually works and it works well.
  • Still my favorite

I always go back to this app. It’s super straight forward and great at keeping track of your progress. Would be great if it can provide Charts - to see progression more easily, iCloud backup - been using this for over 2 years and would like not lose any data, and export/import feature.

Hi there! Thank you for the feedback! I’m working on charts as we speak. Would love to get your opinion on an iCloud backup feature. Feel free to shoot me an email at hi@gains.la
  • I have a slight issue lb - kg

The app is awesome ! Love how simple and easy it is ! But could you put in an option to change lb to kg??
  • Great! But needs like 10% more

This is super straight forward and I love it. I especially love the simple weight input buttons (45, 35, 25 etc). BUT in regards to tracking lifts over a long period of time, it’s hard to see how far you’ve improved, a simple chart would be best or “worst set” added to the list that’s there now maybe as a short term improvement. Also, it’s also hard to know the math on which set has been your best set to begin for a starting weight to improve upon without digging into the data. Even just having a calculated estimated 1 rep max would be helpful to set goals with. Overall I will keep using this app with hopes for a few minor additions in the future that will help better track, load weights, and set my goals without hindering the simplicity that I’ve come to enjoy.

Thank you for the feedback! I’m working on basically all of your suggestions!
  • Simple and super fast

I've looked at dozens of Weightlifting logs and this is the best one if you just want to log your lifts. You would be amazed at how many of these apps don't let you log the three essentials: weight, reps, sets. This one does and it's super fast to log because after you enter your info you can just click on save to add the same info for multiple sets (or you can change the info for each set). And it doesn't have that stupid timer most of these apps have or preset routines which I don't want.

  • I find this app hard as a beginner

Should include some description of what these complicated sounding exercises actually are. Put an illustration or a .gif in there.
  • Good app

I really like this app, but recently it started giving me some trouble. I can only go back two weeks, then it kicks me out of the app. They need a fix for it.
  • Solid app, has potential

    Good app for tracking exercises.

One suggestion: it would be awesome to see a calendar-style view of the days I logged workouts, and which muscle groups I worked out (e.g., colored coded) so that I can easily see what I need to focus more on, and what/when I've been good about hitting the gym as much as I plan to (and where I've dropped the ball).

  • Ok app. Other apps offer better features

Not sure why this app doesn't offer the option to pre-load workouts. Momentum is lost re-entering a routine every time.
  • Simple, well designed workout log

Best workout log app in the App Store. Would love the ability to input exercises ahead of time so I can do less data entry in the gym.
