Worst customer service, EVER!
This company speaks with condescending tones and acts as though all billing issues are because of the customer. The books take hours to create because errors occur at least 20 times during the photo upload process. Because of this, I tried to cancel. They stated my subscription was cancelled yet continued to charge my credit card monthly. I then tried to get a refund and was denied. I changed my credit card number and had to open a complaint through capital one against them. Fast forward 8 months and they again charged my card through iTunes and then refused to honor or refund the amounts they have charged for all previous months. This company is a horrible to deal with yet I can't seem to get rid of them without cancelling iTunes all together. We all know, that is not possible! Now, all I can do is fight to get books published so I at least get my money back through a product. I just attempted to do so and was CHARGED an additional $8.99. I'm at a loss as to how to get refunds at this point.Show lessYogajencole

Hi Jen! Glad we chatted online. When you didn't get around to publish magazines while subscribed - we quickly responded that you still had credits for those months, and how to use them! Recently knows users might miss a month or two and we don't delete those credits. We realized together from your email that, at first, you attempted a method to make the magazines that meant for ordering extra copies (hence the charge) so we refunded it that day, and instructed you on how to publish those credits for free. Users can cancel at anytime, and nothing will be billed. It's not through iTunes. There's a cancel account right in the app, under settings.Disappointing
Heard about the service and signed up, only to be told it wasn't available in Canada. Then I was contacted to beta-test the launch in Canada. I found the app clunky and not intuitive but was not really asked for much feedback as I have been on another beta-test. In any event, I did select photos and sign up with a credit card. As part of the beta test I was told I would receive a free book. No book and when I contacted the owner he refused to honour it. Love my books!
Have made 2 books so far and about to make my 3rd. These little magazines (but better) are awesome! The covers are gorgeous and the paper is good quality. The books are crazy simple to make (I'm terrible with tech), and with little 3 kids, I love how easy it is to keep up with the photos!
(Easy to select and deselect photos from your photos)

Great customer service
I made a mistake when publishing and reached out to the company to see if I could make changes. They got back to me and reset the order, so I could make the change I wanted all before the next ship date.Podcast Surfer

I am a photographer and LOVE this service! It is exciting to receive a magazine each month with the photographs that I choose to print! The quality is exciting and I am compiling one of my granddaughter through the years for her 8th birthday! I know she will love it!Wildsongs
Great Books!
I just received my latest book today. I have been doing these books since their inception. We have been extremely pleased with the quality of these books. The latest change making both left and right side pictures full page pictures is so fantastic! The books look even better than before. I've had the subscription to chronicle at least the first year of our daughter's life. Print quality is great, layouts are clean, app interface is easy to use. I love these books. Love this app and the customer service!
I downloaded this app when my daughter was born to actually do something with all the pictures I was taking of her. I published a magazine for each month her first year! I love the magazines! They are super cute to have out on a coffee table and they are so fun for family and friends to flip through! I made a mistake on one of my magazines and the company sent me a new one with the correct edits for free! They are a small business but they were diligent in replying to my emails! Definitely recommend this app if you are looking to actually do something with all the wonderful photos you take on your phone!Show lesslsingleton117
Best photo app!
I love Recently. I've been using it for more than a year. I love taking pictures of my family - every day pictures of their sports activities or our vacations. But once I upload them to the cloud, I forget about them. Now, I very easily can pick the best pictures and in a few minutes, I have created a professional looking book. We keep a stack of Recently books in our living room and the kids look back at the memories in them all the time. Kudos to the Recently team.Show lessYarkoDC
Get Recently
We became parents in early January and have used Recently as an alternative to the baby month sticker pictures. Instead of one silly picture with the sticker, we've used this awesome print service to create a magazine (featuring our son) every month. The magazine prints beautiful 50 full page or 100 half page photos on heavy paper and that gives several (somewhat limited) photo options (no cropping or resize options in the app). Although it is not a terribly intuitive app- you can easily organize your photos into a folder on your phone and upload that folder to be published. It is a fantastic option for people that never print photos from their phone to easily get them printed into a high quality magazine that will look beautiful on coffee tables or book shelves (even the spine can be personalized).Show lessBuckits
