A really good simple MIDI player!

I've been looking for a free midi player on the AppStore for years - and I'm not exaggerating with how long it took - and I found this gem! I download MIDI files from the internet and let this app play them - and the soundfont it features has a relatively great quality. The playback isn't drawn back by a crappy freemium price model either. However, there are some caveats - the app doesn't feature local storage. I've bypassed this by storing my MIDI files somewhere on my phone. This local storage feature should be added sometime soon! Regardless, I feel this app is great - especially for its price.

It works great πŸ‘ŒπŸ»

(I would like to start off by promising that I am not a bot writing this comment, nor was I hired to write it) The app works awesome! I am an iPad user so when my friend sent me an audio file over google drive, I couldn't open it. Once I downloaded this useful little app, I could not only listen to the file, but also access it directly from google drive! 10/10 πŸ‘πŸ»

Useless

All I got was a scrolling bar with no sound. Useless waste of time.

Satisfactory

It's amazing that this app is for free.

Dear developer, please add:
1. Background play
2. Folder to in app to keep file in device, offline

And this would be at its best.

Awesome!!!

This app is terrific! Saving the midi file would be really great!

Pretty good

Plays the files with decent sound. Wish it had background play.

Does exactly what I needed

This did just what I needed to play midi files from online. It has ads, but they are very minimal.

Useless

Hopeless. Forget this app it will give you nothing but heartache and a minute to delete it.

Response from developer

This issue has been resolved. Thanks for using MIDI Opener.

Does absolutely nothing

All that happens when I play a file is that the timeline blob moves. No sound at all. Which is pretty useless for something which is meant to be playing midi files. Loaded, tried out and deleted all within 5 minutes.

Does what it needs to.

Suggesting background play.
