It wonn't read a acsm file nor ebook
It is really an extracting information ocompany. Before you can use it, it is required for you to give them your data. Once you are registered, you can not open an ACSM document nor an eBook. Do not waste your time.hnewuserOnz
Limited PDF Functionality
This is a terrible app that almost seems retro in its limitations. For example, it does not support continuous vertical scrolling (like a web page) for PDF documents (unlike Adobe and just about any other PDF reader today). If it weren't required for many academic courses, it would likely not be used at all.Show lessAlbanaco
Wish annotations were easier
App works well, with a neat layout. However, there’s a few things I take issue with: I wish you weren’t taken to a separate page when you want to annotate. It would be great if there was an option to scroll with touch, and then annotate with an Apple Pen all on the same page— it would save some time and energy. I also wish the page wasn’t fixed, both when reading and while on the annotations page. It make it a little stiff, especially when trying to write, if that makes sense? Being able to pinch zoom in/out gives it some flexibility. But overall I still enjoy the app and would recommend, for sure.Show lessa chunky walrus
dont waste your time - this app doesnt work
When trying to import files it often hangs with a loading wheel and doesnt do anything. When you finally get it to load something randomly, it wont even let you read past a couple of pages until it just stops rendering the rest of the book. When you try to repeat that whole process of uploading the same file, the app isnt smart enough to know that its the same file, so then you end up with 10 copies of the same book, none of which work. This app is unusable, clearly full of bugs, and im genuinely confused how it has such high ratings.Show lessbrianblades

If you access Kortext through academic institution don’t bother downloading the app. This isn’t the first study tool I’ve come across that has this problem and honestly it’s really disheartening. I wouldn’t be able to do the majority of my readings for uni without the ability to access through my institution and I know many people are the same and while I can still use the website having an app would be so much easier so I definitely won’t be using the website nevermind the app unless it’s my last option from now onShow lessCitcat04
