A game changer!!
Kortext has changed my study life for the better! I used to struggle to keep up with buying the required textbooks for my course as it was expensive and inconvenient buying them, storing them and bringing them back and forth on the bus to uni. Now I have all my books in one place and don’t have to worry about not having everything with me. I find the books to be good value for money and a more affordable and convenient option for me. I love the fact I can highlight and have all the most important bits of information in one section so I can easily go back and reference it. This is way easier then having to scramble and find where I got information from for my essays.Show lessCharlieianthe

Just the fact that IT guys are forced to use this stupid platform is ridiculous. No sorting, no offline reading, printing doesn't work, online use takes 1-2 seconds just to turn the page. It's a waste of a download. All in the name of "copyrights". Just give us a freaking PDF.Playinpearls

Can't download ebooks for offline reading. Completely useless application. What is even the point of offering it for Mac if it doesn't do the one thing the app is needed for?orionsune1

After having used Kindle, Nook and various version of encrypted Acrobat files, I didn't check to see if this app supported offline reading. It doesn't, which is absolutely ridculous in 2022 (You can't read a book you bought on a train? an airplane? at the beach?) It was a mistake to buy a book from this vendor, a mistake I won't make in the future.Show lessJay Doub

This app is poorly made. You can’t even adjust the words to fit the screen or in reading mode. You just have to read the tiny print. You can’t highlight text properly either. If you want to reference, there is only one standard reference method. Page numbers are messed up. Most books do not give you the option to view one page on its own. It’s literally pointless. I was scrolling fast and it locked me out of my book for 5 minutes. Why is that even a feature? I was using the book for my assignment too. I was required to update from the KortextReader app on my Mac to the new Kortext app in order to access course material for a training class. Upon updating I immediately noticed the Offline Reading feature had been removed. This is an inferior "update/upgrade" over the previous KortextReader app as the I am unable to read course material if without an internet connection.Show lessRJonathan S

I rarely give negative reviews but Ive had issues with this app for months to the point where I must say something. The app frequently crashes, deleted my notes, highlight feature has stopped working, lags and is quite slow and sometimes makes the pages blank. The page numbers are also inaccurate too (for eg it fails to update which page I am on when I skip a chapter, making it hard to return to the page that I was previously on). This is not what I expected from a simple ebook app. Unfortunately this is the only app my uni uses so I can’t exactly switch to an alternative. I don’t recommended.Show lessBbybey

This is an app for textbooks and it doesn't have an offline feature anymore. That is utterly ridiciculous. So if anything happens to my connection i'm stranded?!mobs4real

The app is very slow! Even on my computer it takes me like 6 mins to open up a page.
The notes are totally unsatisfying and not easy to write one down.
