Watermark!!!!! Why????
I hate that it has this stupid watermark. I wish there were the option to remove it, even if I have to pay for it. Will NOT be using no matter how good it is. I can’t have my videos out there saying I used a Teleprompter.MyExperience2020
Won’t work with bright lighting
I tried and tried and tried to get this app to work on my iPhone and then on my iPad but the lighting I used with my green screen would NOT work with this app. The lighting was fine with my actual camera app but when I tried to use this app, my face was brightly washed out and I looked creepy/ghostly instead of professional. I’m irritated that I wasted money on it. It’s a great idea but it seems to lose a lot of camera features when used. I’ve never rated anything on the App Store - this is how irritated I am with this product.Show lessnatwait

Hi natwait, Did you try using the tap to expose feature in the app? This allows you use expose your shot perfectly for the lighting. Also, the free version of the app is a great opportunity to test out the recording features before committing to a purchase. 🙂Was a good app
I downloaded this app it was working good I wanted to try it before I bought it. Now it’s not working properly recorded the same video for times and it will not upload like it was doing before it will not save my video I’ve wasted over two hours of my time trying to create a video that keeps disappearing it’s very frustrating I’m not sure if I’m going to purchase the app I don’t want to spend money on something that’s not gonna work properly.. The company emailed me back but I was so upset I did not reply to them because there’s nothing that they could do to retrieve my last video my app sent me a notification that the bugs were fixed so I tried it again and again this morning my 20 minute video lost gone never uploaded I should just give up and delete the whole thing in definitelyShow lessmingyfach

Hi mingyfach. There may be some confusion as to which app you're referring to... Our app does not send "a notification that the bugs were fixed", it has never had the ability to send notifications to users. Again, I'll be able to help if you can reply to our last support conversation, as I'm not able to identify you on here from your name "mingyfach", so I'm not sure who I'm talking to regarding this issue, if it is indeed related to my app. Best of luck with your projects!What this doesn’t tell you ...
... is that on the Lite version it adds the line “Recorded with Video Teleprompter on iPad” in big letters across the screen. Makes the video unusable. I guess you have to pay the full price to remove that. Shame.pique19

Hi pique19. Yes, the free trial lite version has a small watermark at the bottom of your video (certainly not "big letters", it occupies less than 5% of the video space). This means you're able to fully test the video recording as well as the many other features before deciding to upgrade if it fits your needs. While it may feel like a shame that we ask you to purchase our product, it's not viable for us to offer it for free.Great, but ...
I've tried numerous TelePrompTer apps to help me prepare for and deliver my recorded presentations. By far this one is the best, but with one major flaw that after a few minutes causes frustration.
If you wish to practice and have your practice speech recorded, so that you can evaluate your tone of voice and body language, then this app may not be for you. Here is why:
When you wish to do a retake in the middle of your practice speech, you must wait for the video to save first. The wait depends on the length of the transcript. Suggested solutions: a. Let us preview the video, and decide whether it's worth saving. b. If a is not possible, give us an option to save or discard the video quickly without the preview.
Another suggestion is to give us an option to disable the automatic camera magnification. It's hard enough keeping the iPad perfectly straight, at the eye level, so that it doesn't record us from below the chin. No need to emphasize unflattering parts. However, this is not a deal breaker.

Fantastic! I bought the Premium version after this
I needed to record myself giving an introduction to an online training course that I'm going to sell online. I then suddenly realised I had a problem: unlike the presentations I have recorded where I read off a script, that was not an option here. There is no way I could learn scripts like a movie actor!
So, after a bit of searching on the App store I found this app and gave this trial a go. I was super impressed. The ability to record myself with my iPad Mini 4 with the front-facing camera was perfect because then I could see my script. There is simply no way I could have remembered everything I needed to say without this app.
I then went ahead and purchased the premium version so that the "recorded with Teleprompter" text didn't show up on the finished version of my recordings. However, for students and people who don't have lots of money to spend, even the Lite version of this app is enough for you to try your teaching expertise!
