A Great Little Tool
I’m about to open our web shop, linked to our Vlogging channel. Vlogs aren’t scripted, but the video promoting our shop needs to be. So I installed TelePrompTer Lite on my iPad and found it extremely easy to use. As I’m not yet making any money on my channel, I kept the Lite version and I do find the watermark a little large on the output. Otherwise it’d be 5 stars and once I’ve made some money in the shop, I may be in a position to buy the full version.Show lessColinB
Video Teleprompter is great
I love that I can read a script off this either to perform in front of an audience or to create a video using the camera function.
What has me equally impressed is that anytime I’ve had a question, Joe Allen gets back to me quickly with an answer. Modern technology app with old-school customer service behind it. Great!

Not working now
Great app however after updating to v3 the app is asking me to register and hanging on the registration step, cant use so have deleted. Sorry guys, good while it lastedJitter_ebug

You can use the app without registering by disabling the cloud sync feature which requires it, or simply create an account. 🙂You’ll Never Use Anything Else
I don’t even want to say how important this project was, and my idiotically-large iPad wouldn’t let me look directly into the camera while I read my script. The way this app lets you move the script around to fit where the camera is rocks hardcore, and I never had any problem with the time it takes to upload the video, but, then again, I always stopped if I thought I made a mistake.Show lessGabe Coker

Brilliant app
Needed to record a series of 3 minute training clips for my students and knew I was completely green. This app was so simple meant that in just an hour I could do the clips and be really pleased with them. Full marks! The hardest part was making sure my iPhone didn’t fall over whilst I filmed.Ivantriman
Third times a charm!
I hate trying to do videos. I've tried and erased 30 videos before this, no joke. This was just what I needed, no ums. First couple of times too slow, third time was spot on.Loves dogs 0143
It’s good for short videos
I tried several times to record a video. If it’s short, like a few minutes, it works great but if video is longer at the end saving function doesn’t work. So I realized I must cut my script in few scripts and make few videos and then do postproduction in Adobe Premiere. It’s frustrating. I wish to add script, record and save. But it ended up that instead of 30 min I wasted several hours and I am not absolute amateur in video making.Show lessCatherine B. Roy

Hi Catherine. The app has now been updated for version 3.0 with lots of improvements and fixes. I expect your longer videos were potentially unable to save because of storage limitations, however the new version is much better at warning about this and handling that issue. Remember you can always use the "Help" button in the app, or the Support links here on the App Store for fast support where we can help you immediately without wasting any more of your time. 🙂Don't bother for testing it out
This is next to useless without an import function. It at least needs some example scripts so I can test it without spending ages manually typing in a script that I'm not going to use just to see how the program works. I get that you need to make money and I don't begrudge that - if it had been suitable for my needs I would have happily paid £15 but I'm not doing that without seeing how it works. Won't be upgrading and won't bother next time.Show lessbban23
