  • Don’t buy

    This company takes orders but doesn’t fulfill them. They just take your money and avoid responding to any correspondence. Not trustworthy. Save yourself the trouble and keep your money. I haven’t been refunded nor have I received my order.
  • CLOSED! DO NOT ORDER!!

    Without any notification to their customers, eshakti has closed its doors…yet is continuing to take orders and money. Please beware and DO NOT continue to utilize them.

    Do not believe the emails of how “their vendors/suppliers aren’t sending quality fabrics”. I was wondering why the last 2 orders I placed took over 10 weeks, and one of them was never sent. Turns out they are closed. Go figure.

    Highly disappointed with this snake-like behavior when I’d been purchasing from them almost since their inception. Deceitful, dishonest, and thieving. Sad to see that go down.

  • Was good, terrible now.

    Clothes and customer service was great. I a, still waiting for 2 dresses one since February. Nothing yet. No response from customer service. Going to ask for my money back.
  • Took my money and will not refund it

    I ordered 3 items from eshakti in March 2024. They were unable to fulfill the order and agreed, via email communication, to a refund. It is now August 2024 and they have not refunded my money nor will they respond to my emails or phone messages. They owe me $330. Do NOT order from this company
  • DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!!

    I’ve been a patron of eShakti for a decade. I must own over 40 of their custom cut garments and have been 100% satisfied with them until recently.
    In March 2024 I place two orders totaling over $3000 USD. Late May I finally received five of the 45 garments I’d ordered. When I checked the app to see when I might receive the rest of my order, the app claimed that the entire order had been delivered. Website claimed the same. I called them and was placed on hold by an automated system until the same automated voice informed me that their customer service reps were busy so I should leave a message. I did. I’ve called every week (sometimes multiple times) since June 1. I’ve also sent SEVEN emails. I’ve received ZERO responses from them.
    Meanwhile, they’ve launched a new app for their Western customers called Zapelle. Apparently, they have time/ability to expand but not to serve longtime loyal customers. I’ll be going to a consumer advocate service and my local consumer advocate investigative reporter next.
    DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME/MONEY WITH ESHAKTI!!!

  • Great dresses, app keeps crashing, unreliable

    I love most of the clothes I bought through eshakti - the best part is customization but I also adore many of the dress designs. Unfortunately the app crashes whenever I try to change fabric colours. And while I’ve had good experiences, two of my friends waited for months for their dresses to arrive. They would have been less frustrated if eshakti had informed them off the delays, especially as the dresses were intended for weddings!

  • Worst Customer Support I've Ever had

    I used to love this company but in the past 6 months I've literally never had worse customer service. First my order was delayed, ok cool ... for 3 months. After three months of being told it was coming I asked to cancel the order and for a refund. I received an emailed confirmation that it was being canceled and I would receive a refund. And yet low and behold online they declared the canceled items delivered and never gave me a refund. And when I emailed via both their website and responding to their customer service emails again stating what happened, the just ignored me. And I have emailed, receipts, and ignored messages from them to back me up on this. I have proof of their refusal to refund a customer and they don't care, even when I submitted it to them. Do. Not. Shop. Here. They rip you off and then pretend they didn't until you go away because you're too tired from banging your head against a wall.

  • Customer service is non existent

    On October 16, 2023 I placed an order for 2 dresses, the app said it would be delivered 11/4. On 11/10 I contacted customer service to see where my order was - they replied there would be a delay due to quality issues with one of the dresses- ok no problem but since it would arrive late I no longer needed one of the dresses, they said they would cancel that dress for delivery and issue a refund - great- however I was never refunded for the dress. I then emailed them every month since (this is now June) and I have yet to receive a response back from them about my refund - almost 7 months from my original order.

  • Never recommend!

    I would never recommend them! Don't trust them..they are fraud. I made a custom order, paid the money, and they sent me a confirmation of the order and informed me of receipt in a month. After a period of time had passed without any response, I sent a message through the application without a response from anyone. I waited a few days, then sent an email to the customer service, and no one responded. I called the number in the application and someone answered saying that the fabric is not available and if you want, wait for an unknown time or ask to cancel the order!! I asked to cancel and she told me that we will send an email confirming the refund within 3 days, and of course I have not received the money or the email yet.

  • SCAM COMPANY DO NOT BUY

    I purchased an ok garment from them in September and returned it just fine, following all of their rules for making a return. I have confirmation that they received my return. It is now February and I have yet to receive my money for said return. I have contacted them through email and at first received a response saying that my money would be processed but I still have yet to hear anything or have said money put back on my account. Very dissatisfied with their “customer service”.
