Off the Record Attorney Issue
I like in SoCal and hired an attorney from this app to assist me with a speeding ticket. Getting any sort of response from her about my case was next to impossible. Finally, she told me that she had requested a trial date to be held in mid-May. Mid-May came and went, and when I reached out again, she told me that my trial had been set for mid-June. This was not consistent with the public docket, which didn’t reflect a mid-June trial date. She stopped replying to my messages.
I called the attorney, as she was on vacation going to a national park. She said she had gotten my case mixed up with another one but would look into it over the weekend. She apologized for failing to respond to my numerous messages on the app, saying that rarely gets notifications from the app (which is extremely problematic on its own but also not credible given that she had responded to me on it). Next, I get a notification from the app, telling me my request for a trial was denied, which is extremely unusual, given that such denial would be reflected on the docket (it isn’t). I sent a follow-up a message to the attorney, asking to see a copy of the minute order of the denial (haven’t gotten a response). I’m an attorney myself, and this level of transparency and work is deplorable and even worse if the attorney lied to me. Stay tuned!Show lessThis app is truly magical
Yes, this app is legit! I first heard about it being promoted on a Smoking Tire podcast. The host, Matt Farah, is very honest about the products he promotes on his podcast and I know that I can trust them to deliver what he says they deliver, so there are no surprises. When he mentioned that this app helped him fight numerous traffic tickets with an astounding success rate, I made a mental note for myself. I am a very careful driver with a great driving record, so I didn’t think that I would need to use this service anytime soon, but I was soon proven wrong when I got pulled over and was handed two tickets. Combined, they were for 5 points and at least $500 in fines. Prior to that, I had a clean driving record for 20 years, so I was very surprised that the cop was so punitive. I immediately remembered about Off The Record and decided to put it to the test by submitting both tickets to them. I was quickly matched with a local attorney who took on my case, keeping me informed along the way and going to court for me, while I was vacationing in Israel. Shortly after I returned to US, I received a letter from the court - both tickets were dismissed! This whole ordeal cost me 1/5th of the ticket costs, excluding the damage points would have caused to my driving record. I couldn’t be more grateful to Off The Record. They are legit and magical and they help common folk fight the corrupt legal system. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.Show lessGreat service, easy to use
The app provides a ton of information and details that helped me make the right decision to handle my ticket. The process to get my case made and decided was seamless. I will definitely use this service again in the future!!
