A lot of room to improve
- Push Notifications system doesn’t work
- The interface is really poor
- You can’t customize with a picture profile despite the button seems to be editable
- the history goes from bottom to top, which is confusing, since most of apps the history rolls from top to bottom. Would be better see history like a page that old events are in the superior lines not in the bottom.
- Icon pictures at “insite photos” tab are distorted.
- it would be AMAZING to have a chat tab to communicate with teachers/school.

Ugh
I hope you enjoy force quitting this app twice every day for it to figure out you are at school - and I hope you enjoy using this lamest, weirdest drop down menu to say that your kids don’t have symptoms.
Terrible app. Use a different one
My daycare uses this app. It is down probably once a month with issues for over 2 weeks at a time. It often glitches and we see the same posts several times. Also, something weird happens to the pictures and it downgraded the quality to looking like something from a 2006 camera phone.
Clunky
This is what my kiddos preschool uses. It is slow and clunky and doesn’t seem to work well . It makes check in and check out tedious and cumbersome. We have tried uninstalling and reinstalling without any improvements.
Crashes, everytime
Required to use this for after school care, but it has never worked. Wish our school district could pick apps that work.
Can’t Zoom in or Pinch Images
Easy to use, good aesthetics but images are static. Can’t zoom in or pinch images or flip from image to image.
Pretty neat app. Few minor fixes and it could be great!
Scrolling through the pictures the childcare provider posts is super clunky and inconvenient. I wish you could swipe through them instead if having to back out of the current picture to open another. Ability to zoom in on the picture would also be nice.

This app needs some work. I appreciate being able to see my balance however a full statement and ability to download as pdf would be nice.

Far inferior to other daycare apps
Our daycare center switched to Daycare Works several months ago. We were previously using another app and quite honestly, InSiteConnect is HORRIBLE from a user interface perspective. It’s difficult and non-intuitive to read the jumbled mess when I’m trying to check in on my childrens’ day. So visually unappealing. Some recommendations: organize the day in chronological order, separate children, add a communication tool for parent and teachers to directly message, post check in and check out times, use simple color coding and/or icons to differentiate different categories of events in order to make easier to read (ex. meals have a red food icon, naps a great bed icon). Lots of ways this app can be improved.
