No longer functional
A couple of years ago this worked excellently but now the app is unusable. The website still works most of the time but given they also can't manage to send cards out on time or communicate effectively I don't have much confidence in them now!
Still doesn’t work
Have loaded the latest update and the problem with adding money is still there. I had previously found that if you delete the payment method and added it again it worked the first time. After that same old server had a hiccup message. Not impressed.
Server hiccup - customer service email bouncing
App and card used to work fine - like the idea I can still use a card in places I don’t feel safe using my bank card. But this last few weeks I have been unable to add money to the card via the app, it just keeps saying ‘ server hiccup, try again’ - tried emailing customer service email address given within the app snd it just bounces back - lost all confidence that these people should have anything to do with money if they can’t get the basics right, so closing account.

App never works
I changed my bank as this app and the bank have become a joke!
Everytime you go on the app it crashes and now they want to charge you a monthly fee on top of the charge for each time you want to top you account so do yourself a favour and look for another bank account

Used to be good...
Have been using this card for several years but in the last month it has become impossible. The app has crashed and the website isn’t working well. Every time I log out I have to reset my password to log back in; that’s if you can actually get on the website. Can’t load any money so can’t use my card. Hopeless.

Works majority of time
It does what it is supposed to do most of the time. Can be a bit finickity if you have to reload it for any reason.

Work quite well but...
I’ve been pretty happy with the app. It’s rather dated but works well for me however when i view payments on my iPhone or ipad I cannot see the final digit of the payment ie the final penny. Turning the device thro 90 degs doesn’t help.
Also i object to being charged £1 for to call the helpline so don’t tell me to do that.

SSL Error
The app will not load and has not done for days now - it keeps telling me an SSL error has occurred. I can’t log in through the web site either - the browser cannot establish a secure connection.
This is a mastercard app we’re talking about, not some little game or something, and it doesn’t work, with no explanation and no sign of a fix forthcoming - so for now my Optimum card is basically useless.
Please sort it out.

Who manages this app?
Worked great for 2 years then app suddenly stopped working on iPhone with message ‘could not connect to server’. Can still access my account via pc but that’s not much use when you are trying to use the card!!
Have they done any user testing?
Very poor app. Even the basic data entry screens don’t work which is incredibly frustrating and time wasting. Will be cancelling card as a result
