This is my go to app when I need to recommend a sustainable brand to a client or to look for a new piece of sustainable clothing for my family or friends. Can’t wait for more Canadian brands to be included.

Great idea. Bad execution
I love the idea for this app. The way that they rate things is amazing and they’re super transparent about everything. However, their system us way off when it comes to price. When I think $ (cheap) I think like $5 for a tee shirt and $20-30 for some jeans. Any brand that’s in that’s in that price range is ranked poorly. Honestly I understand that sustainable brands tend to be more expensive but they should have that adjusted in their system. A brand that sells jeans for $20 shouldn’t be in the same price bracket as a brand that sells them for $50.

Love the app
Great app, works perfectly. I love how thorough, transparent and concise they are with their findings of each company. It’s very easy to find companies and fully understand different sustainability aspects within minutes. I wish more companies valued these non-monetary factors
Bad user interface
This app comes from a wonderful website. The idea behind it is amazing. However, the user interface is not good. The filters only partially work. For example, if I want to search for affordable men’s activewear, only some of the filters work for this. The app will show me clothing that is within my price range, but that’s it. Activewear? No. Men’s clothing? Maybe. The app will offer me plenty of clothing companies that only make women’s clothing. This is very frustrating.

Second review
Hi. This is my second review about this problem. I am no longer able to use this app as the brand pages won’t load the information. Please expedite this fix as its now completely unusable (and I use this app a lot!) I’m on an iPhone 12 iOS v14.7.1 to replicate the issue search for any brand and navigate to the brand page. Expected result: the ability to see all the info on the page. Actual result: the page continues to load and none of the information is fully visible PLEASE FIX!

A suggestion
I’m from the UK and I thought it would be very helpful if the app had a feature where I can filter out brands that aren’t from the UK when searching for ethical brands. Otherwise a good app, however there are many improvements that are needed to be made.
Love the app but would love more affordability and up to date information!
I absolutely love this app! It’s great for seeing what brands to avoid and gives lots of alternatives! I also love how you can submit brands to be added! The only things which would make the app even better is, firstly, more affordable brands, and secondly, for the information and grading to be updated more regularly. Due to people’s interest in climate change and caring for the environment, many brands have changed (or claim to have changed) recently and some of the information is from 2019 which means the brands could have gotten a lot better or worse since then so it would be great to have up to date information! Other than this I love the app and would definitely recommend it!

Very helpful app
This app is great I can’t fault it. We need more like this. Quality info easy to read and understand quickly.
Great website, poor app
For about six months now the app has not worked at all. Nothing will load. And previously to that it was hit or miss whether it would work that day. Fortunately the website functions mostly the same and works fine, so I can still check brand ratings before buying. But the app really needs fixed.
