Finally the perfect coffee maker for me!
My Spinn Original Pro arrived yesterday. Right away I knew that I made the right decision as I started to unpack and saw the exceptional care Spinn took in packaging my coffee maker. Set up instructions to prepare for use were simple and easy to understand. I then downloaded the app, named my maker, connected my maker by blue tooth to my iPhone, set my cup on the cup stand and push the button on the Spinn iPhone app from upstairs to make my espresso. I couldn’t wait then ran down stairs to watch. Simply amazing!

Broke on 3rd day of ownership
Would expect a $750 coffee maker to last more than 3 days. Got red circle and non- functional machine after 3 days of light use. After several days of trying to troubleshoot company was only given option for allowed return at my expense. Would stay far away if I were you and this customer won’t ever do business again with.

Needs dark mode (and scheduling?)
A well designed app packed with a lot of features. Yet, brewing that first cup of coffee with an all white screen is rough. 😵
Having the owners manual in the app is a great idea and very useful, but some need the ability to pinch and zoom the images. Some of the pages are packed with small text and icons. I have to screen grab the page, open photos, and zoom to read some of the manual.
The integrated support and FAQs is a great touch and works well.
Some oddities. The set buttons on the machine don’t match what’s in the app. A mug of coffee in the app is 10.3 fl oz but the mug button on the machine is 5-6.8 fl oz? A little odd but okay.
No ability or schedule brews or work in Shortcuts. The only shortcuts available are buying more coffee 🫤.
Overall, the app is stable and works well.

Don’t bother
I’ve waited for this machine for a few years during kickstart. I was impressed at first, then when things starting having errors and issues, the coffee started getting lighter. I called support several times within the warranty date and was told several different trouble shooting steps. Later they just said that’s normal. It’s not normal! Errors are not normal. They also told me to avoid dark beans but their advertisements said any bean, especially within their market place. I bought the beans they told me not to buy on their market place. This company is a sham. The ideas are great, but the execution (from customer service, support, and product) is a failure.

Spinning with joy
We love our Spinn coffee maker. The app makes it very easy to make the drink that you want and coaches you through all of the steps. Very easy to use and nicely put together.
Great Coffee and Nice Machine
Bottom line: this is a fantastic machine.
Details: Supported on kickstarter and received after about 2 years of waiting, but it was worth it. The machine has been great and I appreciate the cleaning reminders and the step-by-step walkthroughs to do so. I’ve placed orders via their market and the coffee has been excellent overall. The ability to create custom recipes has been cool and I love that they continue to add more and more options. My favorite (funny enough) is the nitro cold brew - it’s excellent. The app has been reliable and, again, the coffee has been great. 5 stars.

Crushed my K cup routine
Switching from my K cup to Spinn is like having my very own coffee shop in my kitchen. So many options for throughout the day makes me anxious for my next choice. Love this machine and I have only had it a couple days!
Favorite one to date!
My new Spinn coffeemaker is my fourth fully automatic coffee/espresso maker. Saeco, Gaggia and Philips have all been good coffee makers, but like good crème, Spinn has risen to the top. I was immediately interested in their new “tech” approach and moving away from pressure based systems. There are five adults in our household so the Spinn has been getting a pretty good workout - all hands are on board!! Maybe it’s me, but I find the coffee to be less acidic across all the drink options I’ve tried; others agree.
Bought the frother along with the machine and it’s a peach. We have been using a Breville frother with other machines and its minimum fill is 6 ounces, too much for one or two cups. The Spinn frother has a minimum of 2 ounces and makes better froth. Time to order a carafe!

Cool product
Good coffee. Loud and go through water fast. Needs a larger water reservoir. You can connect to water but not going to drill a hole in marble for the machine. Loses connection to app a few times already. Overall liking it but be patient with it. Also telling me to clean and have had a day. Says every 180 days to clean water for scaling. Using a Berkey filtered water. So it must be a glitch?
