Spotify connection

Hi , this app is really good. I am just wondering if there is a way to connect it through Spotify? Thankyou

So far so good but...

I have been using this app on my iPhone to isolate the rhythm, drums and or bass guitar so that I can see where sheet music and tabs are off by a note or two which is great. If you are looking to use this on your iPhone or iPad it is a fantastic app and boggles my mind as to how the program was designed to operate on a phone. I would recommend for those purposes.

But I thought for certain I had downloaded the same app on my windows 10 pc? Is that even possible? or has some other company used the same name in the Microsoft store and now I'm stuck with that other app?

I would just like to know if this program which works for what I need on my iOS iPhone, is available on a windows OS because it is a lot easier on the eyes and ears to be able to do the same on a much more powerful machine with bigger screen and a superior sound system. If not, are you considering development for the windows OS? And if yes to either would I need to purchase twice? Thanks in advance for reading my jumbled review/ inquiry and I look forward to hearing from you.

Excellent Isolation

I use Anytune for slowing, pitch shifting & managing my practice schedule. However the isolation feature is pretty poor.

Step up Transcribe+. For this feature alone it is worth the price of entry.

I tend to learn songs that are difficult to get backing tracks for and Transcribe+ does an amazing job of isolating parts of the songs making it great fun to play to. You do get some artefacts here and there but without the multitrack, I've no idea how else you could get around it but it's still amazingly good.

Love this app

It is simple, intuitive and well worth the cost — basic functionality is exceptional.
Three suggestions:
(1) can you please make your support email address available to paid users without forcing users to have Apple Mail? It’s annoying that I can’t email you directly.
(2) I don’t see any way to save a file I’m working on to include my flags, which I’ve spent some time setting up. Can you address this? A solution would really enhance your functionality.
And (3) while you say the app supports iCloud, it isn’t very effective at this point. That is, while it allows me to save the track I’m working on to iCloud, or to Transcribe+ on another apple device, since point (2) seems to hold, I can’t export/import the flags and other work I’ve done. So “synching” between devices is ineffective. Could you address this?
Thanks so much!

Amazing AF

Very very nice! I always wanted this. Would definitely recommend

weird sound before actual drum waveform

This app has been super useful, but there’s something that I’ve noticed the past few years and it can make the experience of transcribing a bit uncomfortable.

Issue:
I do a lot of Jazz Drumset transcription, and I’ve noticed this issue on numerous recordings. Sometimes when I listen to the drums on Transcribe+, particularly the snare drum, I begin to hear an odd kind of reverse reverb before the actual waveform hits. It’s especially noticeable when the drums are soloing with no other instrument in the mix, like during the 4 bar drum intro of the song “Lady Luck” off Elvin Jones’s album “Elvin!”. It would be great if that could be figured out, sometimes it makes it difficult to tell what exactly is happening. Hopefully this makes sense, and thank you in advance if you end up solving this issue!

Peace, Andrew

Excellent app with huge potential

It was an instant buy for me after watching a review video.
However I faced a few limitations based on which a couple of suggestions:

1) Possible to add a volume adjustment bar for each stem/track? Currently its just on/off.
2) Currently it does not show BPM. Automatic BPM identification and the ability to change the BPM would be awesome. Alternately can you introduce the Ableton-like capability of adding a time-warping marker and adjusting the speed of the audio between two markers so that the user can fit different parts of the audio into different BPM?

I get the point of a paid version but goddamn

Trying to split a song up into the stems and the forty-five second limit stops me before I’ve even gotten to the bit I wanted to split up.

21 bucks to add one feature, a feature that could’ve been there in the first place. There’s such thing as a premium service, and then there’s just locking one thing behind a paywall, that one thing being the only thing this app is useful for. Especially since the AI splitting is far from perfect, it’s ridiculous to charge so much for something still experimental.

Must Call Home

I made the mistake of not allowing data sharing to load songs and it apparently requires Internet data sharing in order to process the material.

PROBLEM: Once you deny data sharing you can’t turn it on even if you reload the app on the same device. Useless now.

Good, but needs improvement

This app is really amazing and very useful for separating audio. In my opinion; I would still need to use more advanced equalizers in order to create a higher quality audio separation but it the app still functions the way it is supposed to be. One minor issue however is that the scrolling bar is not as smooth as I expected it to be since it would automatically get stuck to speed 1.00x and it takes away from a perfect transitioning experience from slow to fast or fast to slow, and I wish this gets fixed as soon as possible. I would also wish that this app will develop a new feature to reverse the audio, as well as giving the user the ability to scroll pitch and speed at the same time. Thank you.

Response from developer

The reason we 'snap' to 1.00 is we got a lot of requests to make it easier to get back to 1.00. I will strongly consider adding a toggle to allow turning this off. If we do add a toggle to turn it off- there is another way to easily get back to 1.00, two finger tap on the area. Reverse audio is also not very difficult to add. I'm curious though- what is the use case for this? Thanks!
