Amazing teaching tool
THANK YOU. I’m working with a youth theater group for an upcoming musical, and this app has made it SO much easier to teach vocals. The speed and pitch controls are great, of course; but the quality of the vocal isolation, while not 100% perfect (nothing is), is easily the best I’ve seen in an iOS app. I’m able to toggle between just instruments, just voices, and both *while the song is playing,* which is incredibly helpful for the kids to hear exactly what they should be singing/listening for. As other competent reviewers have mentioned, some kind of in-app file management system, like folders or playlists, would be the icing on the cake. It’s crashed on me a couple of times when downloading songs, but moving the tracks out of the cloud and onto my iPad solved that. I’d also like to see a little deeper zoom in, more accuracy in moving markers (it jumps a little every time you release), and the ability to turn off/on the waveform “record spin” sound when you scrub. But those are minor nice-to-haves in an app that is incredibly useful as it stands. Bravo. If you’re too cheap to pay $15 to support this kind of advanced audio trickery, I don’t know what to say.

A great start to a really cool app
It really is a cool app with many applications for practicing musicians. I use it mostly for creating ad-hoc backing tracks to practice over or simply to slow them down while I learn a piece.
What would really push it over the top for me would be if they would add some MIDI over Bluetooth LE support similar to how Quantiloop or Amplitube do it. At least basic support where you can start/stop a track using a floor switch like the iRig Blueboard or even an Airturn pedal.
Another nice to have would be some buttons to quickly skip to flags you’ve set rather than having to manually scroll to them. If that could also be controlled via Bluetooth it would be epic.

Wish it worked with YouTube
The app itself works fine but I’m not able to transfer songs from YouTube. I have to convert the song somehow to mp3 for it to work. It’s become a headache and I haven’t used the app very much because of this.
Response from developer
Unfortunately direct integration with YouTube is not possible for legal reasons.
Works pretty well but for one feature
This app has good sound quality and looping functionality.Pitch control and playback speed works well. However the track splitting function that is supposed to isolate into 4 stems is very clunky. Is Really Sloooow and although it does its best the resultant separate tracks sound pretty dodgy. At $23 it’s not cheap so I would expect all features to work well

Good app but..
I like the app but I’ve purchased premium but can’t use the premium features it won’t register that i have any thing to restore when I try to restore purchases and I’m logged into the same iCloud account that I was using when I made the purchase and yes I’ve deleted it and reinstalled the app all from that same iCloud account and still nothing ill update my rating whenever this gets fixed but for now it’s feeling a bummer

Great app but have some comments below
Loop function and it’s nice to have multiple loops in the same track. Would it be possible to stack them directly next to each other, though?
Also - audio sometimes makes a glitchy bubbly noise when scrubbing and pressing play

Directly stacked loops is coming! Will take a look at the audio bug you mentioned.
It’s a 5 star if you only use Apple Music...but
Needs support for YouTube Music where I get just about all my music from these days (and YouTube). Many probably want Spotify too. If I have a paid subscription to one of these services, I should be able to get the song into Transcribe. I use cumbersome workarounds like recording the song and then importing the recording. Not sure if any other product like Capo might make my life easier.

Will look into the possibility of Youtube music. Spotify however does not all usage like this in third party apps at this time so we are unable to pursue that.. We will keep looking for easier ways of importing music from more sources.
Great App !
I think the app is great, I love that you can transcribe video and audio right from your phone ! I have nothing bad to say.
Cool update ideas would be the ability to save your transcriptions as PROJECT files that can be accessible/editable any time. Also be able to export the video in slow mo and also select which timeframe you could export. I also notice that if you try loop to segments that are really close, you cannot intertwine them or expend the loop further. Other than that it is fantastic great job. 👍🏾

Great App
I used to believe the musics speed changer was better because you could put in the exact time down to the thousandth of a second but I like the way Transcribe+ does it. It lets you pan out the music sample and put the ends of the loop exactly where you want it. No silly messing with calculating numbers. The sound sample is right in front of you. I appreciate this a lot.
