Good app but there are some quirks

I agree with others who have said the app can be confusing. There seems to be some issues with the integration of video visits. I tired using my iPad for my visit and when I clicked the join button at the recommended time of 30 minutes before my appointment (stated on screen) a pop-up came up telling me that I could not join more than 15 minutes before my appointment start time. Confusing. So I waited until 15 minutes before and it still kept giving me the message, even 7 minutes before my appointment. I moved over to my computer and it let me in.

Also I tried to echeckin multiple time for a recent appointment there are a couple of issues. First, if you have already signed the consent forms it won’t let you review, accept, and continue. You have to touch the esignature line like you are signing again just to get the app to allow the button to activate so you can continue. Second, once you figure that out, pay your copay and continue the screen is blank. The only way out of the screen is to hard close the app which means you have to start all over again. The only step that remained was the copay payment.

It’s a good app and anything to make the healthcare experience is better than nothing. I do appreciate the ability to avoid the clipboard at the doctors office. Thank you Mercy for holding yourselves accountable to leverage the data you already have to make the patient intake process better. You just need to fix a couple of these issues.

MyMercy App for iPhone

I really appreciate having an app to use. It is a work in progress and does need several improvements. I just learned today that it is possible to attach a PDF file by using the web browser version but it is impossible to attach one using the app. Only allows images.
Hopefully this will be one of the next updates provided to the app. It is very inconvenient to have to go to the web browser to upload a file for a doctor.

I also learned today that the logout symbol on the browser Version is a square box with a right arrow. Seems it would’ve been simpler to have just used a small image with the word “logout” on it.

Hoping to see many continued improvements to this very convenient app.

Great Update to an Already Good App

Not sure what I’d do without this app. It keeps me reminded and organized, which is especially helpful taking care of my family, including my aging dad. Video Visits are an awesome solution to our pandemic and very easy to use right from my mobile device. Love the new look and feel. It make everything easier to find, including adding more features.

New Design Filled with Fluff

The new design of the app is horrible and filled with “fluff” that takes up too much real estate resulting in having to scroll for what seems like forever to get to more important components such as billing. Not everyone needs to see “Register for my delivery” as not everyone is expecting a baby. How does this affect those who are unable to have children or recently lost a little one? Who were your end to end test users?! Roll this back and carefully consider ALL possible end users of this app. Modify the Menu component to have collapsible groups with a collapsed state being default. Add a separate Billing component to the landing page with the Visits, Messages, Medications, etc. Remove the news feed. This is not a social media app and doesn’t need a news feed. Remember that simple is better.

Multiple accounts needed in one app

I am the primary caregiver for my wife. We both have MyMercy accounts. We have given each other permission to obtain medical information, in accordance with HIPAA rules.
Currently, the app on my iPhone (with PIN) can only be used for one of us, and I have to go to a browser to access the other account (with password). Is there any way for the mobile app to accommodate both of us?

Absolute train wreck!!

Obnoxious to the hilt and completely worthless. Whoever the hillbilly was who developed this didn’t know what they were doing and should have asked someone who did, for help instead of trying to bs their way through it. Won’t install. If, after about 30 minutes you finally get it to do that it won’t let you sign in-keeps telling you your info is wrong but won’t tell you whether it’s your user name or password that’s supposedly wrong and has no way at all to report that you forgot your login ID and request to change it!! This app is straight out of ‘’Deliverance’’ and when you’re trying to figure out a way to make it work you can almost hear the banjo music in the background.

A great hospital system with a good app that goes with it

Mercy Hospital, is a great hospital system that is very up-to-date, and modern. I have been dealing with the staff at the hospital and the doctors and their clinics for the last probably 30 years. With that being said in 2012 I had some health issues that they were great with helping me to be healed. Also in 2017 I had some more health issues with deals with a very terrible word, that I don’t like it’s that word you know the C word cancer is a very scary disease and Mercy was very helpful to me when they found the tumor that I had. Furthermore they have been very helpful with billing issues, and financial issues. That I have struggled with with that being said I give them a AAA+++++ plus Rating and highly recommend this hospital system to anybody looking for good doctors nurses and staff very friendly and courteous people. Thank you all the doctors nurses and staff for all your help.

Good app, but confusing some times

So I love the app, being able to check on upcoming appointments, deal with billing statements and payment, having phone numbers and addresses with suite numbers, all of it. Only really have one problem, and one suggestion.

Problem: I often get notifications that I have a new message/billing letter. I open the app, click on the alerts and see an old (but not yet due) statement amount and a line saying the other message is only viewable on the website. Seems silly I can’t check it on the app, but whatever. Go to the website, check message, and only message listed is regarding the bill due a week from “now.” If the notification is truly just a payment reminder, just say “payment reminder: bill due in 7 days.” Would save concern that some important note is being missed.

Unrelated suggestion: my app icon lives on my home screen. If there should be an emergency, it would be handy if the app would either list primary doctor and/or favored hospital on the app welcome screen without needing to log in. Also, if there is any way to add that info to the the phone lock screen that’d also be handy. Tricky to do, but handy if possible.
