  • I wonder why

I can’t see my drs notes and the exit paperwork or the words on this review here I will take a screenshot to show you it’s like I don’t exist I have been a long time patient with mercy they have saved me from cancer and saved me from five brain aneurysms and now all of a sudden after being seen by doctor Eddy and I don’t know what he put in my chart but all of my doctors have started treating me differently. I wonder what the ceo would have to say if he could read this … aEric ? I hope you can read this at least I am hoping to make it to my baptism soon but I can’t seem to get into to see my doctor to get better to be baptized on the second of January I pray for all my 23 doctors and all their nurses in this pandemic and I pray their families are safe and their are safe I pray this in Jesus precious name Amen thank you for all you have done

  • Helpful but with flaws

It’s good if you are a Mercy patient, as far as access to appointment information, scheduling appointments and communicating with your care team. It’s awful at showing results of anything but lab work. The app will not open after visit summaries, and/or any results that are in written form. You still have to go through a web browser and the website which makes having the app pointless for that matter.

  • Messaging service is a joke

I had this app on my phone for a while I recently went to go in Mercy Health urgent care when I needed a Covid test for travel. The plus side was the results were loaded to my app no problem but when I was double billed for the testAre used the messaging portion of this app to try to reach out to the billing department when submitting a message on November 26 the app tells you it will take up to 48 hours on December 1 I still have not been responded to a message again to which I have still never been responded to on December 4 does he have does have some aspects that I like I have to give it a poor review because being able to manage problems in billing he would think would be another large part of the app platform otherwise just remove it from the app if it doesn’t work. or am I just being avoided hoping that I’ll just give up and pay the bill.

  • A couple of bugs

Face ID doesn’t work for login. I consistently get the message that the app has encountered a problem and do I want to try again. It never works for me with MyMercy, but Face ID on other apps works fine.

Also, my blood tests from earlier this month also showed up on my son’s profile. His tests from yesterday did not show up on my profile. It seems like these should consistently be specific to one profile.

  • Doesn’t work anymore

Ever since the last update FOUR MONTHS ago, I can’t login. Keeps saying unexpected error. Thought it was just me but nearly every review since has the same problem. Fix please, I explicitly wanted the app so I don’t have to fuss with logging in on the web (because trying to use web on mobile interface - not the app - is a nightmare) on my computer every time I need to check something. Also, I keep getting notifications for the same dang thing. It keeps sending me messages and clogging up my email with emails about how they updated the website. STOP. I know! In fact, I’m mad you did! I don’t need 2 emails a week telling me how excited you are for this new interface that doesn’t work!!!!

  • No FaceID

So with this new update they took away Face ID. I love that feature because I have too many passwords! Now I’m going to have to figure out which password I put on this account. It’s dumb. You had it before, why not keep it?
I also don’t like how you can’t schedule appointments on the app anymore. That is so much easier than having to call and schedule. I work retail. It was nice to be able to make an appointment at 8:00 PM. Now I have to remember to call on my day off, assuming it’s not the weekend, and change/make appointments.
I wish it was easier to see who my doctors are too. I have to go through several hoops to try to find the phone number of a particular doctor, or even their full name.

  • Last Maintenance

Since the last maintenance this app went down hill. Logging in became an issue, things they decided to consolidate either went missing or are things from 10 years ago that isnt relevant now. Biggest down fall to me now is the insurance portion. It has old insurance inform but won’t let me add my new one, and billing summery or estimate doesn’t even work. It keeps crashing the app. So those that like to stay on top of paying things you can’t even look to see if you are being billed, you can’t see what the break down is that you are paying for and what the insurance is covering. Very frustrating! Please fix

  • Please... eating disorder friendly mode!!!

App is great aside from the video visit thing being super buggy. however, as a patient in recovery from anorexia, I wish my weight & BMI did not display on the screen with no warning! I implore your dev team to allow patients the option to mark this data as sensitive or something. Require a double passcode to see certain fields. Idk, I’m not a developer... but please I’m begging you.

  • Good app but there are some quirks

I agree with others who have said the app can be confusing. There seems to be some issues with the integration of video visits. I tired using my iPad for my visit and when I clicked the join button at the recommended time of 30 minutes before my appointment (stated on screen) a pop-up came up telling me that I could not join more than 15 minutes before my appointment start time. Confusing. So I waited until 15 minutes before and it still kept giving me the message, even 7 minutes before my appointment. I moved over to my computer and it let me in.

Also I tried to echeckin multiple time for a recent appointment there are a couple of issues. First, if you have already signed the consent forms it won’t let you review, accept, and continue. You have to touch the esignature line like you are signing again just to get the app to allow the button to activate so you can continue. Second, once you figure that out, pay your copay and continue the screen is blank. The only way out of the screen is to hard close the app which means you have to start all over again. The only step that remained was the copay payment.

It’s a good app and anything to make the healthcare experience is better than nothing. I do appreciate the ability to avoid the clipboard at the doctors office. Thank you Mercy for holding yourselves accountable to leverage the data you already have to make the patient intake process better. You just need to fix a couple of these issues.

  • MyMercy App for iPhone

I really appreciate having an app to use. It is a work in progress and does need several improvements. I just learned today that it is possible to attach a PDF file by using the web browser version but it is impossible to attach one using the app. Only allows images.
Hopefully this will be one of the next updates provided to the app. It is very inconvenient to have to go to the web browser to upload a file for a doctor.

I also learned today that the logout symbol on the browser Version is a square box with a right arrow. Seems it would’ve been simpler to have just used a small image with the word “logout” on it.

Hoping to see many continued improvements to this very convenient app.
