  • IPad Pro upgrade...Please.

I absolutely love this app. It just needs an upgrade for the IPad Pro so it can do split screen with other apps.
I am currently using Audiobus 3 for live applications when I need to see the chord sheet and be able to change/adjust sounds on the fly.
Thank you for such a great app.
  • Glad I finally got it!

I delayed buying this for a long time, and then one day just got it out of curiosity. I just didn’t think I needed it because I like to record everything I play, in case I come up with something interesting.

The things I love about AUM are:
    - it’s got such a clean UI,
    - super intuitive to use, so it’s the fastest app for making music
    - Excellent project management with folder creation and alphabetical ordering
    - Efficient and reliable

I use AUM with Xequence 2, and that’s all I really need to compose MIDI tracks. The two apps feel so professional, with attention to little details, and incredibly smooth workflow. Both really shine on this touch platform. Highly recommend this perfect combo!

Edit: Thanks so much for updating the AU/IAA icons!!

  • Must have audio utility for iOS

I cannot say enough good things about this app. It keeps getting better and better especially now that I can use external hardware effects with the hardware send feature.
  • iPad Musicians Friend For Life!!!

I have used this app since like 2016 I think and as my iOS music apps library grows this app becomes a mainstay especially at a live gig when I’m doing auxiliary keys, key bass sometimes clicks and stems using one or two iPads simultaneously and seamlessly holding things down sometimes by myself AUM has made me look like the smartest guy in the room especially during social distancing and the halting of most live performers. Thx for being useful.

I really can’t say enough how much I appreciate this app and the developers continued support, personal responses, and ingenuity in implementing new features! It’s become totally integral to my music making and playing and opens up new possibilities all the time. Thank you so much for your work and passion!

  • A Must Have For Music Makers!

The best yet,AUM draws the elements of the iOS music world together seamlessly and makes music creation a joy.
The experience has been a pure pleasure and I’m blown away by how much I can get done on my iPhone.
I’ll have Korg Gadget, Bias Amp and several synths and drum apps as well as audio in via usb mic or guitar DI, and Bluetooth midi controller and keyboard all going in a session.
I don’t really need to fire up the DAW too much, I still love Propellerheads Reason but AUM along with Gadget and Auria Pro is just so dam fast to fire up and start recording whatever idea I have at the moment. Incredibly powerful and inspiring, the software gets out of the way, I don’t want a computer around when I’m tracking, always hated it,hate looking at a big screen and waveforms, so this interface is for me much better than anything previous I’ve used. I love it!
AUM and AudioShare are must have tools.

  • Really nice to use and as deep as you need

I usually do write reviews and AUM, to me is the shi-i-it!
It blows my mind to use it and everything just works as smooth and glossy as high-end feels. It was hard at first to wrap my mind around the best use but I throw samples and loops at it effecting them with au and other plug ins and set up synths and drums triggered by midi. AUM acts as a digital console and on a 2017 iPad 128 I have not been able to max it out as far as tracks and massive sound are concerned. It truly is ausome and worth every penny.

  • Always the best

I own pretty much every audio production app/synth/effect/midi/blah blah, but AUM is what brings everything together for me, including my analog synths, guitar, and drum machines. Audiobus is great but no recording, and Cubase is great but no midi control... AUM does everything that other apps cant do or do poorly, and all in one. This would be the last app I delete. I use this for both recording external instruments, and iOS synths, and I can’t see anything that my pc does better as far as the recording process. Simple, ergonomic, the GUI just makes sense.
    You need this.
And to the guy complaining about the size of the solo buttons, have you heard of a midi controller?.... heh

  • Powerful and intuitive!

I found this app powerful and intuitive.
Easy to get started with, with plenty of features under the hood, when you ready to dig a little deeper.
My biggest challenge is learning how to use all the apps I plug into it.
  • Great app but not so practical....yet.

This app would be so cool if you set it up as a live performing app. Every live keyboard player knows that you do not have time to turn down the volume knob on one patch and then turn up another patch. Last time I did that was with my arp quadra in 1979. Since the early 80’s we’ve simply pushed a button which gives us the next sound. So if I have to play horns for 2 measures, strings for 2 measures and organ for two measures I simple push ( for example) button 4, 1 and then 3(or however the patches are set up) When you are performing live you have no time to think about pulling levers down and up, you just want to push the next button, preferably larger than the itty bitty solo button on your App. I understand that AUM is set up as a mixer, I get it. And It is a brilliant app. I love what it does.
But AUM could do for the iPad what main stage has done with the computer. Make it usable on the gig.
