Rob you off your money and not give you order!
Many times I order at night after working really late just wanna put my feet up and order. I am tired and struggling to stay up because now it’s been an hour and order still saying waiting to be picked up. But it on app the driver has already arrived there a while back. Thinking the order is still preparing I called driver and he confirms he has already got order. And I asked “Why are you not delivering it!?” He says he is coming. He still not delivering it so I cancelled. And I was charged for the order. I contacted support for refund and they said they are not able to help. I searched online and many people has same problem. And we all think the drivers intentionally holds order and wait for us customers to cancel so they can get free food. I will not be using this app again. Please find alternatives.

I had an incredibly disappointing experience with Uber Eats. My younger brother and I ended up waiting for nearly two and a half hours for our order. The first driver, whose name I believe was Shamriz, picked up the food but kept taking different routes, causing unnecessary delays. When I messaged him, he read it but didn't respond. After that, I was assigned two more drivers, but neither could collect the order because Pizza Hut said someone had already picked it up—yet I hadn’t received anything.
Thankfully, a driver named Muhammad Ijaz went out of his way to pay for half of my order out of his own pocket, though I still had to cover the remaining half. While I deeply appreciate his kindness and effort to make sure I finally got my food, I am incredibly upset that I had to pay an extra $18 on top of everything, and the entire process was frustrating. I’m truly disgusted by the poor service and extremely disappointed in how the situation was handled.

YOU WILL BE TREATED AS A THEIF
I get it, people false report all the time just to get their money back, but when you treat honest customers as thieves then how do you expect people to want to return to this app? I always submit photos of incorrect items, but with these last two incidents, the first one y’all didn’t want to refund me cause of policy? Then when I asked the agent to go into specifics or to send a link to me on what policy I violated they immediately end the conversation. I let that one slide cause it wasn’t worth the headache but for this second incident I received someone else’s order, I sent in a picture showing the order and name on the order ticket, and guess what ? I’m ineligible for a refund. How can y’all expect to keep customers when you refuse to pay out for your mistakes, I sent UNDENIABLE proof and have been treated as if I put in a false claim, it’s been nearly 24hrs since I sent in my first support ticket since they won’t let me have a direct agent anymore and yet guess what? No response. It would take only two seconds for someone to look and see the name on the order ticket is wrong. If you don’t want me as a customer just say it cause that’s what it feels like having to go through hoops just to get a refund on incorrect orders or incorrect items

Awful customer service
I am really disappointed with the customer service I have received. My friends and I did a group order (but paying separately), and the delivery took over an hour despite the restaurant only being an 8 min drive away. The food we received was ice cold, and our milkshakes completely melted.
We complained immediately and the originator of the order was issued a partial refund instantly (only $30 of her $50 portion of the order). We assumed the rest of us would be given the refund too (given we had a group order), but after 10 days the payments weren’t in our accounts so we each complained individually. One of the group managed to get a full refund on her portion of the order as she got through to a human customer service representative. However, I was stuck with their AI customer service which kept repeating the same statement “looks like you have already used our self service refund service and have been issued a $30 refund”. In actuality, over a month later and I still haven’t received any money from my order. I believe it is recognising my friend’s partial refund as mine despite the fact that we paid separately.
I have not been able to get through to an actual human and am appalled at the service. I will never use Uber eats again and will encourage others to switch to a different service if available.

Promotion glitch and rude customer service
I am writing this review to draw attention to two issues. One with the app is I received two promotions on my Uber one membership account, meaning I’m paying Uber to receive coupons and deals each month. I had a 40 percent and 50 percent coupon on my account that I could not add and use. It has stayed on my account for over 3 weeks and seems to be infinitely taking up space for working promo codes which I am again paying money for every month. I tried to ask why I could not use the coupons (the t&c do not say they are deactivated, excluded from my account, or have special conditions I need). I went through 4 service representatives who all very rude and short with me. I just wanted to make sure I could still receive working coupons (because again I am paying for exclusive deals and hadn’t received a working one in over a month). I was very dissatisfied with my experience. All I wanted to know was how can I remove these promos so I can start getting working ones again because these two had been sitting in the “rotational queue” potentially blocking future promotions until the app saw that these were used. I just wanted to have a confirmation or not to what was going and was treated poorly and I am unable to utilize my membership because of a glitch/Uber eats problem which I tried restarting, logging in/out, and all the other fixes but received no real help after months of loyalty I changed my rating for this mess of an app!

Uber refuses refunds for missing items
Uber is notorious for not refunding missing items I’ve only had this issue twice luckily throughout the entire use of this app they refunded me once seven dollars an item worth seven dollars after debating with them over a phone call for hours three years ago. now I had a missing item last night. I tried to get it refunded. They absolutely refused to do so and it turns out they’ve completely removed the ability to call their customer support. Their customer support can take hours to get back to you. just to tell you, they’ve done their research and they believe that the order was actually sent regardless of anything you say. I have only ever made a support plan for a missing item twice in four years. If I was gonna scam them, I would’ve tried them way more frequently. They lost my subscription (more then the refunded item!) as of now, i will be doing a chargeback on the whole order of 42$ because they refuse to refund a mer 7$ item (That will cost them 47$ due to how chargeback fees work) With DD you have literally have no issue getting a refund at all for a missing item. It has happened 3 times so far the past few years inhave used it and is typically resolved in 20 minutes and you receive your money back in 4-5 days OH YEAH! the one time i got a refund for missing items. They literally only provided in app credit.

Uber need to update theirs GPS
I love Uber eats I always used it to ether order food at home or order to work because sometime I have nothing to eat for lunch. Delivery is also good they ether text you or call you when they can’t find your address. BUT one thing though please update Uber map, because sometime when I try to order food to my workplace it take them to the back road which there is a fence there and you can’t go through it, sometime the delivery person would call me but I can’t pick up my phone because i am working/no phone allow outside the break room. I put on my notes to please use apple map or Google map to get here but they never read my note until they drop off the food …..and when they can’t find the place to drop off the food they ether cancel my order (which I end up have nothing for lunch and have to starve myself for my 10 - 12hr shift) or said they they “left it at the front door” but I can never find my food because they never take a picture to where they drop it off, or they drop it off to the wrong location. oh and another thing that one time I order like 3 drinks and the delivery lady drop 1 of them ….she never tell me she drop it or said anything about it …I know the restaurant would never forget my drink because I order there multiple time. But please update the Uber map app….

Customer service
We ordered food from McDonald’s with delivery from Uber eat, hardly anything came, I called customer services the first time the man who was on the phone too me verbally abused and called me a liar. When I even offered to FaceTime to show the proof of what was supposed to be in my order when he was telling me a completely different order. I asked for a manager because of this, this legal consumer right of mine was refused and he put the phone down on me. I then called again straight after to see if I could get this resolved and was met by a nicer customer service advisor but again she refused for me ti speak to manager no email or anything was given I asked for both recordings too be sent to me as this has now caused a family member with learning difficulties a great amount of stress. She denied this and told me there’s nothing they could do. So I asked if someone could email me my recordings please as I will be taking this to a consumer claims court for the stress and negligence of both customer service advisors. This was then met with the lady just putting the phone down on me. If you could please send me my recording that will be great otherwise my lawyer will be asking for this when I take it to court as I am disgusted and really broken. This was verbal abuse, threatening and absolutely atrocious I am appalled to know there are discusting people within these jobs and I will ensure I will not stop until I reach a satisfactory result within all areas.

The service is awful and hurtful
I ordered McDonald’s last night already scared I wasn’t going to get my order because the drivers kept bouncing back and forth as to who was to pick up my order. A driver finally picks up my order and I’m relieved because it’s been a long day and I just wanted to eat. I get the notifications the drive is outside and when I go out I see that he is literally driving past my house so I try and flag him down using my flashlight and he drives away faster knowing he obviously seen me. So I go out and try to meet him and he drives off even more, which leads me to running. He didn’t expect me to catch up to him so I knocked on the window, he sees me and drives off completely. I trying to talk to him to tell him I was meeting him to get my order and he drove off so fast I hurt myself trying to meet him and when I showed Customer service what happened they had no response. I am highly disappointed in this service. I could not get in contact with anyone to talk about what actually happened and I am still very hurt after last night’s incidents. I will be telling people in the future to not use this app or service because for me to get almost injured due to a driver basically stealing my food in my face and having no response from Uber Eats or even a agent from within the chat of my order shows there is little to no care for the customers using this app. I am beyond disappointed and to say my experience with this app is a disgrace is beyond that.

Terrible experience over the last 2 years
I have been a Uber one member for a year and Uber eats free for a year. And I can say that they just let anyone become drivers without looking through things first. When I would get a order they always manage to give me the worst drivers that give me some other persons food or they just don’t know to review with the restaurant to make sure everything is in the bag. And not only that I have had reasonable complaints where support has given me my refunds and other customer support. But if you make too many reasonable complaints the company will open up multiple accounts/tabs under your one account blacklisting you from ever getting a refund again. I am still waiting to hear back cause I have multiple refunds on hold because of my account freeze. Nothing but issues and they refuse to further help out to resolve the issue in the best way, they won’t even give out credit to help out with the situation that has occurred. I was even told that every complaint I made weren’t fake complaints and they a greed with everything I said. Really ruined my bank account and ruined how I view a delivery service. They are about to completely lose a valuable customer. Spent over 1k on orders.
