Time zones all wrong
If I set the app to my location the clock is wrong by 5 hours
The only way to get correct time is to pretend I live in alaskaricky_racer
Does not connect
Cannot get multiple phones to connect and setup. No way to manually setup network. Should be pulled from Amazon and App Store.3602-0325-45
Vine Thermostat
At least I’m not the only one with these issues
I have two Vine Thermostats and very often one or both go offline via the app. Sometimes unplugging from the wall and reconnecting fixes it although not always. They are normally connected to the wifi on the thermostat themselves. I believe there is an issue back to their server as I have contacted Vine support in the past and often they’ve had server issues
Today I’m having an issue with the upstairs thermostat app says device offline. I’ve already unplugged it and reconnected. Thermostat is on wifi. Anyone with any ideas let me know thanksShow lessP-Theo
Terrible app
Guys plz fix this app. Figure out a way to change the sitting to user friendly, because it’s not by any means. I wake up at 2 am super cold, setting at 49 degrees. It disconnects from the WiFi. Hard to set the right temp. Has this company closed down? This app is crazy bad.
If you decide to buy this thermostat buyers beware. Get your money back fast... 2 star is me being nice because it does work sometimes and when it works, it’s good but most time it’s a problem.Show lessPreacher51
Worked great at first
It was nice to be in bed and change the temp.But the app quit working at certain times and since the update,it doesn’t work at all.l can be right by it and it still doesn’t work.l forgot,it did work once today..wow.The thermostat always disconnects from the WiFi.This app is garbage.Krwpa
You’re not going to like what I am about to say
This is pathetic! The app is supposed to be the conduit between your thermostat and their server. The problem is that the server is required for you to make any and every change to the unit. However this app/service does not work. You will regret buying their thermostats. They do not have customer service, sales support or online presence allows you to reach out and request assistance. It’s not that the unit can’t be set up, it’s that because their service and their servers are down all the time! So basically you paid around $100 for a thermostat that’s only going to give you the same functionality as the $20 thermostat Walmart can do. So basically your spending an additional $60 for the frustration and aggravation and the lack of support that Vine offers.Show lessMarkFord
App hard to use
The app is almost impossible to see with white font on a white background. Many misspelled words makes the entire app seem unprofessional. Needs a lot work.BritAEngl
IPhone APP issues
The app use for iPhone needs work. Many field are unable to be read, white font on white background make it almost impossible to understand what each field is for during registration.
And a simple “next” button missing means I’m unable to add either of my Vine thermostats to my WiFi or the APP.OgirlE
It’s a shame that I can’t give it a minus number of stars five minus to be exact!
I’m going back to a manual thermostat.
This thing is crazy it resets itself in the middle of the night to 46° meaning in the summer in a humid warm area we are freezing! If it’s not freezing us it’s because it’s off-line.
Boy. Buying this thermostat was a big mistake. I actually will have to pay somebody to find me an old fashion thermostat and replace this thing.Show lesssoon to be Vineless
