App is complete garbage
Bought 4 vine thermostats for my house thinking they had at least similar features to Nest (just wanted remote control of the thermostats). So wrong. The app won’t even allow me to log in. Returns login errors. Thermostats constantly drop WiFi. Products are trash and there is no customer service at all. Got a response email asking for my devices MAC address as if that’s going to be the issue. I CANT GET INTO THE APP. FIX IT! Less than 1 Star. App is not working at all
The device itself is working well, but ~1month ago the device and app stopped communicating with each other (as somebody else complained too). This way the unit is not smart anymore and so far got no response or solution from Support to this looks like not unit issue. Sad.kirkamka

My apartment has these probably because they are the cheapest, annnnnnd it shows. The old app was flaky, the new one, useless. Just know it works 5% of the time for about half the “functions”.Rebeleclipse

Vine 919 thermostat
Purchased this thermostat because a friend recommended it. When I did my research, the Vine thermostat is at a decent price in comparison to others for the same features.
I have yet to have issues with mine. I would recommend it.CentralHeat
