  • Terrible system, don’t buy the product either.

The system doesn’t work. It has somehow managed to disconnect itself from the app, even though the system is connected to internet. It has also, somehow, managed to change its own time zone. You cannot set anything in the system without being connected to this app, which has insane trouble trying to connect to the system itself. If you’ve already gotten this system, we’re in this together, and I’m sorry.

  • Horrendous app makes Bosch look antiquated

It is shocking that such a world-renown tech company like Bosch would release an app that could have been coded and designed by high-school students. And not very smart high school students. It is a terrible app that seems like a relic from the late 1990s. My respect for Bosch has plummeted. This app could have been launched by hackers trying to ruin Bosch’s brand. On top of this, the entire ecosystem of “Bosch Connected” apps and services are so badly integrated, so hard to get to work, and so badly planned, designed & executed that it’s makes Bosch look like a small regional company in some small U.S. state with a minuscule budget for IOT. It just seems like an afterthought. I really would have completely reconsidered the Bosch appliance I bought and bought a different brand if I’d known how badly Bosch delivers on the clear need for competent user control of purchased products.

  • App works great

It took a while to get the app to connect to my device and account registered but once setup it works great. Using iPhone app.

    Some features it could use:
1- firmware updates through the app. Currently we can only do this at the device itsself even though there is a tab in the app to do it.
2- temperature range control. Currently we cannot set auto temperature range to any desired heat or ac number. We can really only set a 5 point range between when ac kicks on and heat kicks on. Would be nice to be able to set a closer range vs using just ac mode or just heat mode and having to swap between them in the spring and fall months.
