  • Not what they seem.

The first 30 days are filled with classes and motivating factors, something new daily/weekly. I could tell it wasn’t as unique or individualized as they make themselves out to be.( just because you highlight the words doesn’t make them true)
After 30 days it becomes boring and repetitive. It’s the same “quizzes” daily, same goals from week to week. 30 days is way too soon to begin “consolidation” with monotonous assessments. I even tried reaching out to the Facebook community for support but because it wasn’t the most positive post it never made it Pat the mediators. So I was stuck feeling isolated
Did I lose weight yes, in the first 30 days I lost about 6 lbs. which was amazing don’t get me wrong. But I’ve plateaued there for the last 25 days. I spoke with the nutritionist after the first 10 days with no real feedback to combat the plateau. I have been working out about 4days/ week since I started the program. I was highly motivated with this app that’s just fizzled to nothing and have moved on to do my own thing.

  • It’s ok

The app itself is a fun interface - engaging and clearly a lot of thought went into the user experience. If I were only rating the app, I’d probably score it higher.

Where I lowered the score (and why I chose not to continue after the two week free trial) was twofold:

    1. It seems targeted toward a European audience. I found it challenging to accurately log food as I was required to convert everything from grams. If they had offered more ways to weigh & measure portions, my food logs would have been more accurate and therefore more meaningful to me.

    2. It seems to take a generic, one size fits all approach to nutrition that doesn’t not take into consideration each person’s health factors. Example - it kept telling my diabetic husband to eat more potatoes?! Another day it told me the “best” thing I’d consumed that day was a stevia packet in my coffee?? And yet another day it basically scolded us for “overfilling” the fiber “circle” even though fibrous foods are a prebiotic which feeds the good flora in our gut.

This is a fun app that might help someone who only needs to lose 10-15 lbs and isn’t trying to improve their gut health and reverse type two diabetes.

  • Money back guarantee is not true

It is a cute app with very colorful and nice animation. The food options were not as abundant as in My Fitness Pal. The lessons were very tedious, but some were helpful for beginners. The nutritionist did not give advise to lose weight. She said I was at a healthy weight with my BMI and could not recommend any weight loss. Isn’t that the point of the app to lose weight? The ratings on the food can vary. One food can be considered bad, while you can find another option for the same food, and it’s considered good. I did not lose weight. I just had my normal daily weight fluctuations with food and water intake. I asked for my money back because I paid for 6 months. They said because I lost weight, they would not give my money back. The weight lost was normal daily intake. They have bad customer service. I recommend just using My Fitness Pal for free.

Greetings 👋 we appreciate your response. Your input has been duly noted, and we are incorporating your suggestions as we continue to develop the app 🙏 We apologize for any dissatisfaction you may have experienced with our service. After thoroughly examining your case and responding to you via support, we have concluded that your purchase does not qualify for a refund (not solely due to weight fluctuations). Thank you for your understanding.
  • Impossible to Cancel

This app could definitely be useful for people with specific weight or eating goals. However, the language used in this app could be better. There is a lot of shame-based components to this app, such as sad faces for eating things that aren’t “healthy” and reminders that you’ve eaten too many calories. This could be potentially damaging for those who have disordered eating or are prone to disordered eating.

The other reason I’ve rated this app so low is that it’s impossible to reach customer service and to cancel after the free trial. There’s no number to contact, only an email, which I haven’t gotten a response to after numerous attempts. I wouldn’t recommend signing up for this app unless you are positive it will be worth it for you. Not worth the $90 charge when you can’t cancel.

  • Please add custom items!!

I love this app so much. I have tried many apps in the past and this interface is so easy to work with and it doesn’t throw too much at you at once. It is just very frustrating that a lot of the foods I eat aren’t accurate like whole grain everything bagels from my small bagel shop near me, obviously it won’t be in the data base, but I know the nutrition facts and I wish I could put them in myself. Same with my granola. It is just frustrating having to use another app for my calories and macro counting, but everything else for the app is amazing!! It is just mildly infuriating.

  • Deficit works but app seems broken

I am learning, in the way that is comparable to my experience with Noom. I like the education approach with incremental exposure to new habits and the different approach to goal setting! But a lot of the features seem kind of broken.

For example, the lessons keep referring to my in-app workouts and asking if i’d try them — I’d love to but they’re blocked behind a separate paywall and not included in the (paid) trial.

I ate over my allotted calorie amount for snacks category and was told on the daily assessment that I needed to pick more calorically dense snacks.

I also sort of understand the happy face/frowny face thing but that’s also randomly inconsistent and it also does bad things to one’s psyche. Like, a food that was praised for high protein in the daily assessment has a face that makes me ashamed to have thought of it.

With all of this, I am making progress. But I also think I might be able to make the same progress with a free calorie counter app, so I’m really not sold on Foodvisor.

  • I absolutely love this app

This app YALL. I have been using it for 4 days and I’m already eating better and more consistently and drinking more water. It’s been awesome.

I have GERD, fibromyalgia, and POTS, so eating for my conditions is something I have to do. The nutritionists are so helpful. They have articles at the ready. They have classes you can take. They keep track of your calories, water, exercise. I’ve tried a lot of apps and this one keeps me the most consistent.

I gave it a 4/5 purely for some technical issues that if they get fixed, 5/5 easily.

  • Work but real results

No magic miracle! The right way to lose weight for good. I have to work hard at it but the structure, learning, and especially the help from the live nutritionist has really helped me see why 2 years of failed attempts at weight loss hasn’t worked. I have lost 7.5 lbs in 2 mos (Thanksgiving and Dec holidays included) and only increased my regular exercise level slightly. The interface is so easy to use and I feel informed, guided and supported! I have learned A LOT that I will take with me and apply to my lifestyle. Visually easy to follow and engaging. Not a ton of reading. Not overwhelming. Is like nutrition and weight loss therapy - there for you through the ups and downs, and guidance is very intuitive. The nutritionist is quick to respond and very helpful.

  • Horrible

Annoying and unhelpful. Also got charged on my card after deleting my account since I couldn’t find an email or see anything on my apple subscription list
