Not working
Totally frozen. Deleted app, rebooted, reinstalled - nope. Still frozen. Changes altitude, and location, but the compass doesn’t move.
Wondering if it’s a phone thing - literally something with the physical phone - because both my iPhones won’t work with this app. Or any other compass app.Goldenneko
Utterly useless. iPhone 11 Pro, iOS 15.5.
I’m riding on a trip and comparing this app’s orientation with what Apple Maps is giving me, and Maps eventually corrects itself while Compass is stubbornly between 90 and 180 degrees off.
Speaking of Maps: when I first tapped the icon to change Maps’s orientation from North-up to forward-up, it was also completely wrong. After some time, Maps realized that my iPhone’s “forward” meant “in the direction of travel”, so it reoriented the view to be correct.
Calibration tricks aren’t working. Turning its privacy permissions off and on isn’t working. Restarting the phone isn’t helping. Deleting and re-downloading Compass didn’t help.LelandJ

No longer works
I don’t know what happened but it has stopped working. Tried rebooting, reinstalling, moving the phone around to calibrate, removing the case. Other compass apps work perfectly.Ptripathi2005
Just fine
Considering this app is FREE, I am not certain why anyone is complaining about this APP. It simply behaves (as it should) like a compass. If you are somewhere and you want to know where north is, this will tell you.
I have not experienced any of the issues others have, so I am rating it a 5. It works and costs nothing.

Doesn’t work!
The compass is frozen. It just shows me where I am. As I recall when I first got my phone the compass floated and worked like a liquid filled compass. Even giving accuracy as a level. Now it does nothing. What happened!?Denny Hollywood
Doesn't work
It simply doesn't work and for a simple compass app seems user unfriendly. The only thing working is latitude and longitude. The pointer doesn't move, Theres a lot of red dashes meaning that something isn't right, I have ensured settings are correct... Kinda sad for such an essential app. And the fact that the native Apple cCompass App has a 3 star rating is sad.Hachi sama

Did not work on one phone
Deleted the app. Unable to recalibrate. Did not work on one phone. The compass was off 40 degrees on one phone only. I deleted the app and reloaded it which did not correct the problem.Lorri K Lockyer

I got the new iPhone 13 pro max and the compass has not worked from day one then my U-verse mobile app stop working and no one knows why this happen or have a fix for it and re-downloading don’t workUnhappy U-verse Customer
